    I consigned clothing with this store they told me they would pay me when the clothing sold, during covid lockdown. I was told by the manager there at the time that they would not submit payment electronically but would issue a check that I had to pick up. I called the manager the following month and told him I had covid in the house and was unable to pick up and he told me not a problem and to come when I could. I recently moved to portland and circled back to see if they still had my payment since I never picked it up. They confirmed the items were sold and that checks had been issued. I said I never picked them up and they said they could pay me out but needed to verify that the checks were not cashed. A period of over a month has passed and every time I check on the status I am informed that there is a problem paying me out due to switching new banks and what seems to be an issue with communication between the owner and bookkeeper and numerous other excuses. I spoke to the owner who has numerous excuses for not paying me out such as ***** was a trying time and many changes have happened and does not honor what the previous manager had communicated to me. The facts are they sold my items, profited, and have a track record of how much they owe me. I would like payment. Their inability to access past records from chase bank is not my issue.

    Worse experience ever at a consignment store. Non existent customer care. ****** has zero respect for her loyal customers/co-signers. If you treasure your expensive items, do not bring them to her for co-sign with them. Long story short, I trusted her business process and she slapped me in the face by losing some of my unsold items and claiming that I was wrong. That I had not dropped those off when I have pictures of them on her rods. I was Very upset and she knew it when I questioned that there were missing items. When I dropped off my items to be sold, I respected her process and didn't asked for a detailed receipt as she claimed it wouldn't be any problem. Big mistake. She has zero knowledge of how to account for merchandise she is entrusted with.And yet, as I am leaving her store she happens to find more items seating around that she claimed she never taken in the first place. I was put on the spot when asking about my items; as I had taken photos of the items I left behind to consign this helped me prove that I was being robbed of some of my items. Ultimately, I had to be the bigger person and offered a solution to our never ending disagreement. I lost a lot but think she lost and good customer who had being supporting her since she lost her spot in ***********. Never again.

    Hey *****,Im sorry to hear about your experience. We take a detailed accounting of every item that comes in our store and goes out onto our racks. You were emailed a list of everything you consigned initially (via our software), and then issued your inventory list and spreadsheet when you came in to get your unsold items when you requested it. In your specific case, when you consigned in April 2021, you came back later that week to retrieve items that you did not want us to sell, and you did not take photos of what you picked up at that time.When you came in I made every effort to satisfy you and explain this. The solution I offered, was to take a layaway balance that you owed us to cover it, and you agreed that would resolve the situation on our end.I think it's in both of our best interests that you seek out a different consignment store to work with.
