      I took my 2022 Subaru Forester to Subaru of Bend for oil change and tire rotation 10/16/23.When I pick-up my vehicle the paper work was completed and I paid for the service.The exact verbiage on the invoice was "Checked cabin air filter and engine air filter all fluids topped off washer fluid and coolant". The cabin filter had leaf's and other tree materials on it.The air filter has small grains of sand and twigs on it. The window washer fluid container was so empty I could not see anything. I took pictures and sent them to Subaru of Bend.

      Subaru of Bend and the associates were very good to me. My car was in the repair shop for 3 - 4 months, but I was able to use the loaner car throughout the whole summer. It was wonderful to be treated with respect and confidence that my car would be repaired. Then when the car was done, I was told my bill was only $38!!!! Subaru picked up the cost of repairing my car due to the length of time it took to repair it.

      We just traded in our 2018 Crosstrek for a new 2022. We absolutely love the Crosstrek model and are looking forward many more years with this one. We purchased our 2018 from Subaru of Bend. We came back to Subaru of Bend because our last buying experience coupled with 4 years of maintenance at the dealership have proven to be outstanding.And this newest interaction with the crew at Subaru of Bend did not disappoint. Starting with the General Sales Manager ***********************. He was the crucial link to getting us a 2022 when new vehicles are scarce. Without his kind interaction this sale would not have happened. ***** turned us over to ******************* in the internet sales department. ****** tracked the incoming vehicle, giving us regular updates. He requested photos of our trade in Crosstrek so he could estimate its trade in value. We did receive the trade in value that ****** quoted us earlier. During the purchase process, ****** was super easy to work with. He has a great attitude and that comes across in his friendly demeanor. This is something that has been lacking in dealership interactions I have had in the past with other dealerships. So I would suggest you connect with ****** and he'll take good care of you. To finish the sales process, ****** handed us of the the ****************** Manager ***********************. We had worked with ****** 4 years ago during our first Crosstrek purchase. This interaction was exactly what we expected from ******. Knowledgeable descriptions of the various options for add on services and extras WITHOUT pressure to purchase any of them. That's totally awesome because in the past at other dealerships we have received the HARD SELL routine. Not at Subaru of Bend. From ***********************, to ******************* and on to ************************* we received excellent service without any of the negatives we have experienced at other dealerships. I highly recommend this group. We'll be seeing them again come trade in time.

      First, know my husband and I have been subaru owners since our 20s. That is 8-9 Subaru's plus my son bought a WRX and my daughter has bought 2 Foresters. We bought the last two plus maintenance and extended warranties from **** ****** Subaru. On December 29 or 30th, my husband and I walked in to get a sell back price of my 2021 Onyx Subaru Outback with an original sticker price of $39,500 November 2021. The sales manager came out to us and offered $33,500 for these reasons: 1. Claims he had to replace the steering wheel because we had a k*** on the wheel due to my fractured wrist I had, which would cost $800. 2. He said he would be receiving cars in for $37,000 so he cant go up. We had quotes in ********, but we were unable to get over the mountain due to the storm. So on January 5, 2022, we brought the car in for $33,500 with the hopes of splitting the steering wheel cost. My husband, who has had a stroke (so not fast at responses) asked The sales manager to split the cost of steering wheel. The sales manager said to be certified he had to replace the steering wheel. Sales manager told us he does not raise prices $5000 over sticker like ******** does. I personally think this was inappropriate considering he did it too! On January 7th, I went onto the **** subaru site and there was my car with pictures of my steering wheel that was NOT replaced and for sale at ****** (with the $1000 dealer discount). In addition to that, the price for sale was $3500 over sticker price of a year ago. So much for the comment of not going over sticker price. In our mind, that was 3 excuses. We understand a dealer needs to make money, but not like this. But the worst was ***** using the steering wheel as a reason to cut our sale price. I did call corporate and they gave us $400. But I would be careful of buying from Subaru ****. I have photos of the steering wheel not replaced.! I wrote by email the owner of **** subaru months ago and received no response before I wrote to BBB.

      Mostly good, however...Service department staff are great, my only complaint about this visit for an oil change is that when I went to pick up car they told me I needed a differential flush. Since you had the car, a phone call for authorization would have been nice. Instead, I have to schedule yet another appointment. Inefficient.Update: Inefficiency continues. Had to have a door handle and panel replaced on our Outback. When I picked it up I noticed the rubber seal that should have been next to inside of window was missing. Went back in to tell them. Had me wait 20 minutes while they tried to locate old door panel, only to be told that the old seal couldn't be used, they'd have to order a new one. Which, once again, means I have to bring the car back in. ??

      My *************************************************************** P and turning off the engine, the key wouldnt release. A phone call to the dealer to schedule service also led to a temporary work around which was helpful because the earliest appointment was a few weeks away. On the day of the service appointment, I was told the repair work was covered under the manufacturers courtesy extended warranty. I was even given a loaner vehicle since the work would take most of the day. The only direct cost to me was for gasoline used. Staff members were courteous. The technicians were skilled and fixed the problem.

      Service department is great to work with. Everyone has always been friendly and they all work very efficiently there. I'm no mechanical whiz but it certainly seems like they know what they are doing. It is worth driving 20 miles to get my oil changed there every 6 months. They check lots of things over carefully and let customers know what, if anything, needs attention. You get a lot more than just a simple oil change.

      Excellent service from a professional team! I loved buying my 2015 Outback here a few years ago and the service **** has always been great since then. There are challenges in 2021 due to some major building renovations and COVID, but as long as you make a reservation for service and arrive on time, your work will get done promptly and your turn around will be swift.Very highly recommended dealership!

Personnel we dealt with, (salesman, finance manager, and parts and service personnel) were all knowledgeable in their areas of expertise and very helpful in helping provide all the information we need in order to make the right decision for us.
