The mission of Yamhill Community Action Partnership (YCAP) is to advocate for and assist persons toward self-sufficiency.

YCAP provides programs for low-income, senior, and disabled residents in Yamhill County through critical social service and transportation programs.
Programs and services include:
The Regional Food Bank serves 27 pantries, soup kitchens and group homes. Food Bank services include:
-Food distribution to a countywide network of Partner Food Agencies
-Local food drives
-Friday Family Food
-Willamina School Farm
Youth Outreach addresses the needs of at-risk youth, ages 10-21, in Yamhill County by creating partnerships with public and private agencies, community groups and individuals, and youth themselves to fund and implement creative, supportive, cost effective programs. These programs are grounded in positive youth development and include services such as:
-Support/skills groups (both youth and family)
-School liaison services
-Youth leadership development opportunities
-Quality after-school programs
-Street youth outreach
-Homework club and study hall
-Emergency youth shelter called "SafeShelter"
-An evening "Drop-In" Center designed to get at-risk youth "off the streets".
The Housing Program provides rental assistance and three homeless shelters for families. Additional services of the Housing Program include:
-Case management to educate families about their options
-Shelters for homeless families with children and single women
-Rental assistance for homleless individuals and those at risk of becoming homeless
-Transitional Shelter to help families get back on their feet.
The Energy Services Program helps households evaluate their energy usage and provide energy education and weatherization. In addition, depending on income level, they may offer assistance with energy expenses. Energy Services include:
-Home energy audits
-Heating system modifications to enhance efficiency
-Insulation installment in attics, floors and walls
-Minor home repairs to guard against heat waste
-Base load reduction, i.e.: refrigerator replacement, compact fluorescent lights, low-flow shower head
-Door and window assessment to determine modifications for energy efficiency
-Financial assistance for energy costs
