With President’s Day less than a week away, holiday deals offered by businesses across the country may have already started. Better Business Bureau® Serving Central Oklahoma (BBB) is offering its insight to help consumers know what to expect when evaluating sales and special offers this President’s Day.
February is usually a slow month for many retailers. So, President’s Day sales are encouraged to help motivate spending by consumers, particularly on big ticket items, such as cars, furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses and much more.
“Savvy shoppers should plan ahead and be mindful of any budget they already have in place,” said Kitt Letcher, president & CEO of BBB. “By planning ahead and staying aware of holiday sales and discounts, you increase the likelihood of having a successful and stress-free experience.”
“With bigger ticket items being the popular thing to purchase during President’s Day, shoppers are looking to find the best deals, but the lowest price doesn’t always equal the best deal,” Letcher added.
