I told the guy at Agrilawn that I needed called before service, that I had a weed they couldn't get rid of before and also that I had already fertilized my yard and didn't need it done again, just the weeds. I have trees, shrubs, and flowers all over my yard and didn't want them near them. Their guy came out, no call, and fertilized my dallisgrass, which everything I've read, says dalllisgrass thrives on nitrogen fertilizer, which is what he used. I was in the shower when he came but saw him on my security cameras. He said he didn't spray near my shrubs or other plants, and he's right by them on camera. He also left a note saying for $46.50 to come out more often, every 2 weeks, on top of the $43.23 they wanted to come out every 4-6 weeks. I asked him if that would get rid of the dallisgrass and he said no, the only thing would be to use roundup but to do it now would kill my ******* grass, that it needed to be done in November when my grass was dormant. So I told him to cancel my services since it wouldn't do any good and the fertilizer was only spreading it. I called again and talked to them again and told them what he had said and that I didn't think I should pay and I was worried about the damage they most likely did by spraying near my shrubs and other plants and she said if they came out it would control that weed but that guy said it would not. So the bill was canceled and I was told to call back and ask for her if any damage was done to my shrubs, trees, and flowers. I certainly will but weed killed can also take awhile to destroy plants. I can see by the other comments on here that many people are sorry they used them.

Suz-Ze, We are very sorry about any mistakes made when services were set up and that you are so unhappy with the application provided yesterday. As I stated when we spoke, unfortunately mistakes can happen from time to time and your initial request to be called the day before applications and to not use fertilizer on this applicationwas left off of the notes whichis why our field manager treated the lawn the way he did. As for treating the lawn that is near your shrubs, it is unlikely that your shrubs will have any damage from the lawn being treated. Our technicians are trained and well practiced at treating lawns with landscaping without creating damage. However, as I explained, we are a companythat standsbehind what we do and if you have damage that is verified to be caused by our treatment, we will take care of the situation. It is true that dallisgrass, like all living plants, will respond to a fertilizer. The benefit of applying the fertilizer at the same time as the weed control is that the fertilizer will also promote growth and greening in the Bermudawhich will then provide competition to the dallisgrass. That competition in addition to the weed control helps control the dallisgrass. The recommended service for $46.50 would have been a one time charge & allows us to be out more frequently and to get a quicker clean up on the dallisgrass through the summer, but is not a required service. Due to the aggressive nature of dallisgrass it will be difficult to clean it up without the added frequency of applications until we get to the fall when the ******* is dormant and we can then use a non selective product, like Roundup. I hope this information helps to clarify things. Please feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss anything further.

VERY BAD! I used AgriLawn for several years with no problem. This year my Yard is PACKED FULL of weeds, crabgrass, etc 1 month after pre-emergent treatment. They refuse to remedy without charging me again for what I already paid them for. Don't use AgriLawn!!!

*****, We definitely understand being frustrated with weeds in the lawn and are more than willing to address your concerns. Unfortunately there is a limit to how long a pre-emergent application can control the weeds which is why our services are set up as an ongoing maintenance program. If there are issues, we do offer and honor a 30 day service guarantee on our treatments. Since your last application was over 60 days ago, the service guarantee no longer applies. If you would like to discuss your options further, give us a call back. We are more than happy to work with you to address your current and future weed control needs. Thank you!

Do not use this company. I paid for a year upfront, and I was told through the sales rep Brian to do everything online because I was getting an extra discount, and when I called him afterward to verify everything, he said I did everything correctly, only to find out that it was not done correctly. I paid for an entire year of only half of my lawn. Over half of my lawn is weeds, and when I called the manager to discuss it, she said that was not normal, but they were not willing to make it right. She said I could pay for other services, and even mentioned that it was not reasonable that the sales rep didn’t verify it, and was rude about it. Don’t waste $600 on them. Go somewhere else, they don’t even fully spray the lawn anyways.

Autumn, I was very sorry to hear that there were apparent miss-communications with our staff regarding the areas that you wanted treated when the account was set up last year and that those miss-communications have affected your satisfaction with the services received. Unfortunately, it appears that my intentions during our phone call were also not well received. I appreciate that you were willing to take my return call and are giving us the opportunity to address previous communication errors. Thank you for being open to my resolution suggestions moving forward. I look forward to hearing back from you soon!

Agrilawn came out in June to do a one time yard spray for insects. To my surprise the company came out without any notice and sprayed again at a cost of over $400. When I called, I was told that this is how the account was set-up; that an email was sent with the prices. They confirmed that they did not have a reply to the email accepting the cost or setup. However they show a phone call was made right after the email was sent. Which would be correct for the one time service. After 30 minutes on the phone and talking to 3 different people I agreed to pay $200, even though I did not order the service. Ms. S continued to accuse me of setting up a service but that she would cancel it and accept my “partial payment”. I shouldn’t have paid anything since I did not order the service. I have used Agrilawn years ago and never had a problem. Needless to say the treatment received from their office staff was very disappointing and unprofessional.

As a company, AgriLawn, Inc. strives to provide excellent services while meeting the needs of our customers. We want all customers to be happy with the service and experience they are receivingfrom us and we are always sorry to hear that someone had a bad experience. I spoke with Mr. and Mrs. * regarding the disputed services and my understanding was that we had come to a satisfactory resolution so I am very sorry to hear that Mr. * felt our staff was unprofessional as it is part of a customer service job to educate customers on services, billing, etc. In all scenarios we try to be accommodating and offer resolutions to any problem at hand.In regard to this particular situation, I found that we had received an initial requestfor servicesvia our website and received a follow up call from Mr. * to get information on pestcontrol services. My sales rep noted the services and pricing that he quoted pricing for our outdoor bug services and our *********** applications and sent an email with that info so Mr. * could discuss it with Mrs. * before settingit up. I can verify that we did not receive a return emailto start services however, that is quite common for us. The majority of our customers schedule services with us over the phone as this allows us to ensure that we are scheduling what they want. For example, we recommend 4 outdoor bug treatments annually, but our email to ************ noted 2-3 and we normally recommend 3 *********** treatments annually but our email to them noted 2 which is what was set up about and hour and a half later. The account was also set up to call them the day before coming out to complete services. In my conversation with Mr. ** he acknowledged receiving a phone call from us the day before the disputed applications were completed. Since we did not hear back from them, we had no way to know they did not want those services and completed them in good faith. Based on the overall circumstances I offered to share responsibility for any miss communication and offered to split the application cost. Mr. * countered, offering to pay $200.00 of the $486.00 balance. I accepted his counter offer, took payment for the $200, credited the remaining balance and canceled any future services per their request.
