I've hit hard times and my own car blew engine which is under kua settlement lawsuit Not able to afford to get new engine I started looking for another car I told ***************** at *** what I could afford being elderly disabled widow and he got extremely ugly towards me Absolutely no reason for a company salesman to be that way, and this was strictly thru texts I can understand If I went up there and waisted his time, but I told him unless he had something to fit my budget there was no point in doing so Then he git very ugly towards meReview from Darnell S

Bought a car from them in 2019 and discovered an unauthorized GPS kill-switch device duct taped under the hood. Immediately returned the vehicle but instead of a refund, they auctioned off the car and reported it as a repossession on my credit report. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.Review from Yakira S.

STOP DON'T GO HERE!!!!!! Hello to you all i am a customer of The key i purchased a 2016 KIA sport age from them march 2021 the motor blew in May 2022 it has been in the shop sense the end of May they never called really to keep me updated they lied about having a motor for it everyday it was something different. I requested for all my money from my vehicle that is in the shop to be traded toward another car to equal value of what i already put into this vehicle. They tried to ask me for more money down to take my note over to another car they have never made me feel that they cared they have never once been professional like KIA boomer so if u want a car look go there or a big dealer ship and by something new the key is full of b******* excuse my language.

Horrible place to get a car. Rip Offs totally I bought a car at the Key in 2016.. I had 2 deaths in my family in 3 months..Couldn't work for awhile. So I couldn't afford the payments. They repossessed my car took me to court they keep adding interest to the garnishment I got. They take money out of my check every paycheck however they keep adding interest. I now owe more on my car that I paid for it back in 2016. I don't know how this can be legal. They are horrible and don't deserve to be in business. No sympathy or empathy it's all$$$$$$ to them.Dont get a car there. I promise they are wolves in sheep's clothing. I wouldn't have left one star but I had to put something in there..Review from Rhonda F.

Mrs. Rhonda ** ******* UPDATE JULY 4,2022 Bought my car June 4, 2022, yes, they are very courteous and friendly and that’s about all. I’ve had the car for 30 days. Bought the car on Saturday June 4, 2022, on Monday I took car to the KEY auto shop because the check engine light came on. I was told it’s the gas cap and I shouldn’t fill the car all the way up, ok check engine light goes off, but when I get down to half a tank the check engine light comes on again, so I had a diagnostics ran and it showed the O2 sensor is out (bank 1), it’s been lagging & choking almost stalling. This why I got rid of my other car it had the same issue. This is the second time I’ve taken the car back to be worked on, the part was ordered from Nissan and was told I would be called when part is in. My only advice to you guys is before you buy a car run a Carfax you will be surprised what salesmen don’t tell you. They did not disclose to me the car had been wrecked in 2020. It’s a 2018 Nissan versa silver I knew it was $11,000 brand new per Car fax but, sold to me for 20,000. All I can say is Buyer beware do not go to KEY AUTO. I have been cleaning my credit up and now that I voluntarily surrendered the car bc Of mechanical and frame problems, which I’m thinking is most likely from the car being hit center back per police report from Jacksonville Florida. This repo will b on my credit and most likely I’ll file bankruptcy to keep USA Finance from coming after me for the balance of the car, after auction. Do not go to Key. BUYER BEWARE. I was also told they do not have to disclose a car was wrecked since it came from an auction. I give them one star for nothing.??Review from Orlene C

I purchase a car from The Key for the first time in February of 2020. I made every payment hadn't missed a payment and last week on Saturday April 2, 2022 I spoke with a lady from Auto Finance that handles the payments for the Key and told her that I had three deaths in my family in the last three weeks and if I could get this one payment deferred because I had to travel out of town for two of those funerals. She looked up my account and said she would put in the deferment for me but check back on Monday. Before I could check on Monday, a representative by the name of ********* called about the payment. I explained to her that I had talked to someone on Saturday about deferring the payment. ********* informed me then that I would have to pay the insurance before the deferment. I explained that the lady didn't tell me that on Saturday. I told her I would see if I could come up with the money. ********* and I talked on several occasions this week with the last day being Friday April 8th. I told her I would have to load the money on my card after work so I didn't think I would get to call her before 5:30 pm to make the payment. She told me I could call Saturday morning. I was on the way to the store to load the money and I received a call from someone at The Key asking about the payment. I explained that I was about ten minutes away from the store and it would be paid then assuming my account had be noted about the request for the deferment from the previous conversations with *********. A gentleman took the payment over the phone and ask about the payment and I told him I requested a deferment and ********* told me to make the insurance payment so they could do the deferment. The gentleman told me my account had NOT be noted about any discussion about a deferment but ********* would be in on Monday. At 4 pm on Saturday I came out of a meeting and my car would not start it had be disabled by The Key. I can't believe ********* did not note my account to avoid this.Review from Francisco T

In January of 2022 I financed a car from The Key. I was told that I would received the title in 20 to 30 days, its March and I still have not received it. They have me drive around ************* with an expired temp tag and then I called a few times to find out about the title and they tell me its on its way but will arrive late. That is unacceptable. In a few months I am moving to ****** and I need the title to register the vehicle. Am I going to wait a year to get a title. That is not right after I been so nice but now I am mad and upset. Its bad but I had the car voluntarily repossessed because I took my business elsewhere. Also I have full coverage with State Farm and they told me I would pay $265 biweekly on the vehicle but then they would charge me $328. And my State Farm three times faxed and emailed a copy of my policy and still charging me $328 instead of $265 as promised. I hope future customers stay away from them because they will be nice but then change the price and not charge what was promised. I will never ever do business with them. I even put $800 down on the car. But its fine because I lost that money.Review from Toby P

Avoid the Key DO NOT GO HERE I've been paying on my car for 5 years and I have been unemployed for 1 1/2 years and still managed to stay on top of my payments. My unenployment ran out and I start a new job in 2 weeks which means I will not paid for 3 more week and they are threatening to repo. I am 14 days late after 5 years. You'd think I could get a 30 day *************
