Complaint: While trading vehicles, the salesman and sales manager both knew I wanted to upgrade to a navigation package. ******* ****** is the salesman, ***** ****** is the sales manager. Being STUPIDLY trusting, the thought didn't cross my mind that I would be deceived into signing papers (without reading) and driving a car home which DID NOT have navigation. I've never had navigation so I had no idea what it looked like and until I tried to look up an address, didn't realize there was no navigation. My man friend was with me and was my witness but he passed away last November. I DO have a copy of a check I wrote for the upgrade but the manager said it was for a different kind of upgrade. I am very disappointed that this supposedly reputable dealer would cheat me just because they knew I believed in people!

Desired Settlement: I finally gave up on getting the NAV package and asked for only a rear view mirror with direction in it so I wouldn't get lost. The manager agreed to the mirror but wants me to pay for it!

Complaint: Transmission went out. I was sold a policy when I bought the car at Big Red which was not valid - even though I paid for it for two years. They did fix my transmission after 3 weeks. Picked up the car and the VDX, ABS, Service Engine, Selt belt alert were all on. None of the controls on the worked. Said it was not related to the repair even though it all worked prior. My car was there for 3 weeks. Never once did they call me. It would still be there if I had not been persistent and called them daily. The car has had the engine replaced since I bought it two years ago. The service department is deplorable and the general manager is non existent.

Desired Settlement: I just want my car fixed in a timely manner.

Complaint: Service manager failed to notify me in any way shape or form that I was going to start being charged storage fees on my car. Had some issues with my car after leaving it with Big Red Auto service dept. Left it 11/24/15. I had to file a complaint with a different entity for the repairs. Called ***** the service manager in mid Dec and told him this was proving to be a lengthy process and asked if I needed to remove my car from their lot. He told me no that it was fine and I wasn't being charged storage fees or anything. 2/10/16 I called to tell him I was having my car picked up and he proceeded to tell me that I owed $1200. in storage fees. I reminded him of our conversation in December and he said they started charging after the first of the year. My complaint is that I was never notified in writing or even given a phone call to let me know they were going to start assessing charges. If I had my car would have been moved right away. After trying for 9 hours on 2/11/16 to discuss with with someone higher up I again kept being sent to *****. At 5:15pm ***** finally calls and says they will lower it to $850 but that they have started a title 42 process on my car for abandonment. This is not the way to do business. All I needed was a phone call or letter and I would have had my car out of there. Im a one income household and do not have the money to fix my car none the less pay their huge storage fees that could have been avoided.

Desired Settlement: I just want to get my car off their lot and not be charged the storage fees that they failed to make me aware were being assessed.

My car was there for over a month with no fees being charged. When I called in December to ask if I needed to remove my car from their lot I was told I was not being charged. I should have been told that the charges would start after the first of the year. They did end up dropping the $1200 charge and only charged me a $250 diagnostic fee. When my mechanic got my car turns out my engine had NOT seized as I was told and does not need a new engine. This service dept didn't even adequately diagnose what was wrong with my car but yet charged me a diagnostic fee.

Complaint: On January 16th 2016 I came to Big Red Kia and was told I was approved for a car..I signed the papers and drove away with the car..within a week I was called and told the loan had fallen thru. I returned to the car dealer and was once again told I was approved for the car and got a cosigner and again signed the papers and drove away with same car..I specifically asked them if this loan was 100% approved so I could get rid of my other car and they said YES!!..two weeks later after I have already let other vehicle go they called me back to say this second loan fell thru and they had another lender and to come back in again so I did. After arriving I find out they did not have another approval and said to find another cosigner which I did. After waiting two hours and rescheduling a doctors appointment again I was told nothing they could do good bye..I am 6 months pregnant high risk and have several doctors appoints and they left me standard with no car and got mad at me when I asked for down payment back and literally have spent last hour arguing with them and had to threaten to call police. They guaranteed me to my face this loan was good and sell other car knowing very well if it fell thru I would be left with no car to get to work or doctors appoints or to hospital if emergency occurred involving a high risk pregnancy. Complaint: my girl got a new 2015 kia optima from big red sports and imports in norman Oklahoma back in august 2015 and the tag has been out since 9/23/15 we haven't received the title to this date 11/18/15 we called 3 times during this time and they swore they would send it to her but we never got it and cant get the tag because of it so we been driving the car illigaly cause they refuse to send the title.

Complaint: I purchased a new vehicle from Big Red sports and Imports. After reaching out to them many times for a spare key they still have not provided it. I purchased a brand new vehicle form Big Red the model is a 2015 Kia Forte Koup, White Stock number 15K1126, Vin KNAFX6A83FXXXXXXX. The purchase was made February 20th 2015. After many calls to the dealership none of my calls have been retuned. I have asked for managers to no avail and left messages for them to return on the daily basis. I was advised I would get my key after financing was done. I have still made no headway and they will not even tell me whether or not they have my spare key available. Initially they told me it could be shipped after financing was cleared, it has been 3 months and the refuse to assist me with the issue. Ive advised them that I will come pick the key up now that I have time but called to verify they still have it after the treatment I have been given but have failed to even do this.

Desired Settlement: The only resolution I would like is for me to be able to receive the spare key for my new purchase. Please provide me with the spare key for the vehicle.

Complaint: I went in to see the possibility of purchasing a new vehicle. It took about 3 hours for the whole trip and they didn't give my paperwork to the finance company to input all info when I said I needed to be at work at 11am. The time they gave them the paperwork it was already 1:30pm, and they still wanted me to stay while they put everything in the computer. They had to run paperwork to my mom to sign and I was told this was going to be ran on only one credit check and the salesperson would call the rest in so it would not ding my credit since I was trying to rebuild my credit. The salesperson also told me that my vehicle I had with Santander was no good and that I just needed to leave it somewhere even though I am making payments on it and tell them I did not want to pay anymore and that they would have to come pick it up. He told me that it wouldn't affect my credit anymore because it was already bad. I am glad I did not do this at all. They made me re-email all documents numerous times for insurance and my mothers income verification and ID. I was called about a week later for them to tell me that financing was not complete because they could not get me financed since I had a bankruptcy from 10 years ago and that they needed to re-do my financing yet again. They asked me for money down and I told them I would not be able to do that right now, they finally said they got it financed and had to have my mom come down yet again to fill out paperwork. We came back the next day to a whole new person and had to re-do the paperwork again because they made mistakes with my name and my mothers name. My credit was hit with numerous inquiries I did not approve and I was just told that the financing is not complete because they need just my moms name on the loan and not mine. I got the car on 5/26/15 and I am now returning this vehicle tomorrow morning and want nothing to do with this company ever again. Their customer service is the most horrible service I have ever had!!!!

Complaint: Told by salesman that I could Refinance my vehicle after one year. The Key Finance Co. indicated that they do not Refinance, after I signed for car. The salesman at Big Red Imports in Norman, Oklahoma verbally told me that I could refinance my vehicle at a lower monthly rate in 365 days. I would not have purchased the vehicle if I had known that I "Could Not" refinance. The Key said that they stopped doing business with Big Red because they have had numerous complaints from customers that Big Red employees were telling customers to start off paying a large payment for one year, then refinance at a much lower rate.

Complaint: We were guaranteed we could refinance our high interest high payment vehicle after 8 on time monthly payments or trade in for a new vehicle with 0down In March 2014 we visited Big Red Sports and Imports to look at vehicles. The Sales Manager ***** told us our credit was horrible and how the only way he could help us improve our credit was by putting us in used vehicle. He told us the interest rate was high and the payments would be $600 per month, but if we made 8 on time monthly payments he guaranteed we could come back and refinance the vehicle or trade the vehicle in for a new vehicle with no money down. He also indicated the monthly payment would be reduced. The vehicle was dirty on the inside but the engine was good and the vehicle had less than 50,000 miles on it. We knew we weren't getting a great deal, but we really believed the ability to refinance in 8 months or purchase a new vehicle was worth the high interest loan. In December 2014 we revisited ***** the Sales Manager and he informed us that we owed more than the car was worth and that because of the negative equity he could not refinance us. We reminded him we had done exactly what he told us to do, made 8 on time monthly payments, kept the vehicle in great condition and we expected him to keep his word. He told us the company they financed us with was hard to deal with and they no longer did business with them. However, we had no control over who the finance company was, Big Red Sports and Imports set us up with that company. They sold us the vehicle, they new the price, value and possible depreciation value of the vehicle when they sold it to us. We left VERY upset. We returned this month, March 2015 to try again, we thought with a year's worth of on time payments we should be able to refinance. Once again a very arrogant sales manager tried to tell us how bad our negative equity situation was and how they would not be able to help us. We did everything we were told to do with the vehicle they sold us for the price the requested using the finance company they selected. Now they do not want to honor their word and keep the agreement they made on the initial deal. We would not have bought this vehicle and agreed to such a high interest rate and payment had we known that we would not be able to trade the vehicle in within a year's time. Now we are stuck with a vehicle that has $12,000 in negative equity and have been spoken to in a very condescending and disrespectful manner. Not only were we lied to, we were then humiliated. The sales practice of this dealer is deplorable. Please stop them from treating people in such a horrible manner. Just because someone has bad credit, it does not make them a bad person. No one deserves to be lied to and humiliated by a company that is making thousands of dollars off of them.

Desired Settlement: I would like the dealership to buy out the remainder of my contract. I do not wish to keep the vehicle and I do not wish to have a repossession on my credit. The dealer sold me a car at a price of 130% more than it was worth under false pretenses. We agreed because we thought it would help us to obtain a new vehicle in a year's time. They can gladly have their vehicle back and release me from any further commitment.

Complaint: Misleading price on ad. On 3-20-2015 I drove 50 miles to Big Red Sports/Imports after contacting them via email and text about a 2014 Rio which is last years model and a demo Price listed on web site was $14,616.00. After test drive I made a offer of lower than asking price because the car was a demo with almost 3900 miles on it ( did not know this before going down there). My offer was $14,000.00 out the door. $616.00 less than their advertised price. After a very long wait their counter offer was $18,700.00 which is $500.00 off msrp for last years model and a demo with miles and wear on it. I then told the salesman I would pay their advertised asking price of $14,616.00 out the door with a window tent added.Then after maybe a 20 minute wait they responded with a sale price of 17,900.00 only $1,315.00 off of msrp for a last years model and a demo with miles and wear and still $ 3,284.00 over the advertised price ! So I made the 50 mile drive back home without the car.Per the Kia web site there is only $1,800.00 in rebates on this vehicle of which I do qualify for $1,000.00 so that cant be the reason for the large gap in advertised price and the asking price once they had me on their sales lot. I realize this dealership prides itself on being able to get almost anyone a car loan, something I have no problem with at all. So is the reason for them offering a price that no smart shopper would take the fact they knew they would not be able to make their part of a high interest loan ? One has to wonder.

Its easy for anyone to see your game when your first response and your second response contradict each other. You run a shady business and everyone should stay away from your car lot!!

Complaint: Charged for trade in and rebate, when we were told they were discounts. My wife and I purchased a new vehicle from Big Red . We had a 2005 vehicle to trade in and a $5000 down payment. We were told that they were taking the $5000 down payment, giving us $1500 for our trade it, and getting us a $1500 rebate to help get the payments lower. Upon receipt of the loan agreement we see that we have been charged $1500 for the trade in, and that the dealership got the $1500 rebate and added it to the price of the vehicle. My wife went to the dealership in order to cancel this bad deal and was told by the manager that they did nothing wrong and we should have read the contract better. The total price of the car is showing as $28000 on the loan agreement. If you look at the price of a Kia Forte LX, they range between $16000 and $20000. We are being told we owe $24000. The numbers do not add up. They have cheated us, they are aware they cheated us, and they have told us to deal with it.

Desired Settlement: I would like the charge for the trade in taken off first of all, as this is just ludicrous. Also I would like the $1500 rebate we were told we were getting to be applied towards the balance, not added to it.

Complaint: We bought a 2008 GMC Sierra with 40,000 miles as is. They did not disclose all the issues the vehicles has & are unwilling to fix it. We purchased a 2008 GMC Sierra on 2/3/2015. We test drove the vehicle & it drove fine but when we got it home the engine light, service light & tire sensor light came on. We called & left several messages & did not receive a call until the next day & they said to bring it in. We took it in they said it was the tensioner & belt & we fixed that ourselves & it did not fix the issues so we had a diagnostic run on it & it said it was the alternator which ruined the battery. I spoke with **** in finance & ***** ******** & they are both unwilling to fix the truck. They said they will fix it at their cost, which they quoted at $550. Since auto dealers run tests on vehicles before they sell them & the problems occurred the evening we drove it home, they had to know the alternator was going out when they sold it to us.

Desired Settlement: I want them to replace the alternator. I understand batteries go out & I will buy a new battery but they had to know the alternator was going out when we brought it in for service the next day since that it why the lights kept coming on.

After test driving and sitting down waiting on someone to take our information is when the sales guy comes back saying the price listed was wrong and would sell the vehicle for $6100.00. This is false advertising and I have documentation proving this.

Complaint: Was offered a $500 cash back refund in which the car lot refused to honor once I went back to sign for it. I purchased 2 cars on January 17th after hearing a radio advertisement for a Kia soul for $14990. I went in search of this deal but instead I was told that the advertised price would be with all possible discounts and that it would be closer to 18000. After the entire process of negotiating prices and payments, and sitting there for 8 hours, I walked away with a contract that I later realized had different payments and a price other than what was originally discussed. I went back to see if anything could be done, which the dealers said the only thing they could do was offer $500 cash back. I didn't take it at that time so that I could consult with my parents (this is my first time buying a car). I later talked to one of the employees, **** ****** who told my that if I was offered that $500 refund that it would still be honored. I went a few days later to sign for it and was told that I would not receive anything at all and it did not matter what was discussed with **** because I would be leaving with nothing because the deal was final and that was that. I asked to speak with **** since he was the last person I had spoken with about the issue and he would not come speak to me about the issue and instead I was told he was busy and would remain unavailable and that I would not be able to talk to him. The sales personnel try to be nice up until you sign the contract for a vehicle and after that customer service all goes downhill. They no longer care about actually trying to help the customer and don't care if they treat you like craps because they've already gotten their paychecks from you signing that contract. Although I was dissatisfied with the outcome of the price and payment changing I came to terms with it and decided that the $500 cash back offered would at least help pay for my tag, title, and tax (about half of it), but was highly disappointed when I was denied yet that too. All I had wanted was that and they decided to not even do that. I would never recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from this company.

Desired Settlement: At this point after being treated the way I was, I won't be completely satisfied, but I would like the $500 that was originally offered to me.

Complaint: The dealership failed to send my contact to the people who cover my warranty. I also have issues with the way they do business. I purchased my chevy malibu January 11 2014. The gave me the run around. When i did purchas my car about 2days later i noticed things in my contact they did not go over with me. The price of the car is not the price they had told me. I went back to the dealership to discuss this with them and they got mad and told me i had to leave. But before i left i signed a piece of paper to terminate my extended warranty. Which ijust found out they didn't ever send off the contract on this warranty. I called and complained on July 25 and they them said they would send a check to my bank. They did. They also suppposed to pay all of my ttl . The sales rep told me that $500. Would cover it. So they cut me a check for $500. When i went to get my ttl it was $889. The lady told mee i was lied to because they can figure it up in their office. When i told them about it , they refussed to pay anymore because they wrote $500 in my contract, even though i was told they would pay full amount. We had settled on the price of the car at 21,500. In my contact there is a place they added on for my trade in, but i was told that they would pay off my trade in and i would just solely finance the price of the car. That's not what it shows on my contact.

Complaint: Purchased brand new vehicle. Before taking control of it, scratches and dents were noticed. Dealer promised to fix all problems. Dealer did not fix. I purchased a new vehicle at Big Red Sports. After they cleaned the vehicle and brought it to us we all noticed some scratches and a few dents. There were scratches on the outside of the vehicle and some on the interior center panel. The dealer tried offering us $250 and send us away. We refused. They then said the will take care of the whole problem. We were told to take it to a KIA dealership and have them fix it and that Big Reds will take care of the bill. WE asked about a rental car and they said " call us if it turns out you'll need a rental and we'll handle it". We got a estimate from a KIA dealer and sent it to Big Reds. They didn't want to pay at first b/c the estimate was more than they wanted to pay i.e. $250. After a few calls the dealer decided to pay for the repairs. The KIA dealer said they will need to keep the vehicle for a few days to repair it. We called Big Reds and told them it will take a few day and that we'll need a rental. They refused to get my family a rental. The person on the phone refused to let me talk to a manger or the owner of the dealership. The person on the phone said they already paid enough to fix the vehicle and hung up on me. Big Reds did not hold up to their promise. I had to put the repairs on hold right now b/c I have a family and will need a vehicle. with out the rental it leaves my family vehicle less. I live in Texas and bought the vehicle at Big Reds in Oklahoma. The salesman knows I live in Texas that's why he told me to take to any KIA dealer for the repairs.

Complaint: We were told we would receive cashback in order to plate and pay the tax for the vehicle, We have not received it nor can we speak to anyone about it. On 6/5/14 we purchased a vehicle from Big Red Kia. Part of the negotiation was that we would receive $500.00 cash back in order to help with the tax and title costs. We were told that this money would come from the creditor (Capital One) and that we would get it in about 2 weeks. I contacted Capital One on a different, though related, matter and asked at that time about the cash back. The representative from Capital One told me that any cashback agreed to by the dealer was on the dealer to provide. I then attempted, for two days straight, to get a hold of anyone other than the switchboard operator at Big Red Kia and was told, for two days straight, that every single employee in the building was either busy with customers or in a meeting. Belatedly, due to the fact that I had never purchased a vehicle from a dealer before, I searched and found several similar reviews of this establishment. They will apparently tell anyone anything they want to hear just to get them out the door with a vehicle and then promptly act as though that customer no longer exists. My biggest problem here is that I only agreed to the purchase because they were supposed to help with the tax and tag as I knew there was no way I could pay the $800.00 to be able to drive this vehicle legally after the paper plate expires. As it stands now, I am stuck paying over $500/month for a vehicle that I will not be able to drive after the first month because I cannot make it legal because I was lied to by the dealership and then given the run around. I do have a signed paper, on Big Red's letterhead, stating that I am to receive $500 cash back with nothing else promised within 60 days. I will probably have to drive the 90+ miles from where I live to the dealership to even get recognized which is unfortunate. As the BBB I would expect that, with so many complaints on such a large entity, an inquiry would be conducted and at the very least fines imposed for each instance.

Desired Settlement: All I want is what I was promised: $500.00 before the end of this month (June 2014) so that I may make the vehicle legal to drive before the paper tag expires. (I already changed my insurance to fully cover the new vehicle.) However, if what was actually promised is not met, then I would like to see the contract legally voided and my trade in returned to me in the same condition it was delivered to them in.

Complaint: Big red used the cosigner as the main holder of the loan. My wife and I went in to purchase two 2014 Kia Souls. We were using her mother as a Co-signer. Big red used the cosigner as the main holder of the loan. We were told that they will just put the cars in the cosigners name not the loan to get a lower interest rate. But the put everything into the cosigners name without telling anyone what they were doing.

Desired Settlement: I want the agreement on the cars we signed and agreed to with a cosigner. We shook hands on this deal now and they are refusing to honor it.

Complaint: I was told my previous vehicle was being traded, any vehicle issues would be fixed and poor customer service. When I purchased my car I was told my previous vehicle was being used as a trade. Come to find out that was not the case when the previous finance company called me harassing me to take a payment.When I test drove the car I noticed a few issues, I am not a mechanic but definitely knew something was wrong and was advised that any issues would be fixed if I wanted to purchase. The following day I took my car to get serviced and they gave me a loaner vehicle to drive. When I got home and tried to leave in the loaner, it would not start(I missed an extremely important appointment that day due to lack of transportation). I had to wait on a tow truck to come pick me and the loaner up and drive back to Norman to get another loaner. They told me my car issues were due to rotors needing to be resurfaced and two new front tires so that's all the work they did. After my inconvenience of dealing with their loaner car I was promised an oil change and my sunroof would be inspected and if cost effective, fixed. When I picked up my car the service tech told me that my oil wasn't changed and sunroof was not inspected and he never received orders to do the following. I drove back to big red and spoke to **** who told me he would call me the following week and also compensate me for the gas to drive back out to Norman to have work done they promised to do and failed to deliver. When I left, on my way home I was applying the break and my car was shaking and making noise. I called the following day after it continued and spoke to a sales manager who told me that because it was raining it was my anti-lock brake system I knew that was wrong. He was very rude, disrespectful and pretty much refused to assist me. Over the next few days I am calling trying to speak with what it seems like is the only person willing to help and that has customer service (****) and all I was getting was the run a round. Of course by this time I was angered and upset for I been lied to. I cannot afford this inconvenience. I finally spoke to someone who told me to bring the car in. I also made complaints about a belt squealing that my car salesman witnessed as we pulled into the shop. I rode around with the mechanic and after maybe 10mins, he said that he cant duplicate the problem and drives back to the shop. Everyone I've spoken to including the mechanic knows that the problem was intermittent so obviously it would take more that a few minutes to check into it. I went back to Big Red and waited for them to speak to the mechanic and they came back to me saying that, the mechanic said he couldn't duplicate the problem so that means there is nothing wrong! Me being the person driving everyday I just could not accept that as a response for brake system issues,this is my life in danger as well as anyone that is in the car with me. I told them I wasn't trying to fight, this is what was I was promised and I've been having issues with them and if they couldn't deliver I would just clean the car and return it to them. One of the managers told me that wasn't an option and pretty much this was my problem and that I could try and get another car elsewhere but my credit was too bad, no one else would help me and this is my only option...He was extremely rude and disrespectful. I finally got to speak to ****, who just showed up by the end of the day who was able to make to the situation a little better by being respectful and at least acting like he cared. He told me again he would call me and get everything looked at. To this day my car still acts up nothing has been fixed or attempted. I got a second opinion from the Nissan dealer who immediately told me what my issues was with the car. I don't want to take legal action or give the car back because it is a nice car cost effective, and I thought I got a good deal on it. I just want them to fix it, that's all!

I acknowledge that while I was upset that I was rude as well but not until I was pushed to my breaking point in which I have apologized to everyone involved at Big Red personally even after the disrespect continued from staff. I think its only fair they pay for my car tag/title. I left Big Red after buying my car feeling really good and even started to spread the word about how they were helping me, but this has turned into a stressful headache that my health cannot afford. I've missed work sitting at their dealership and at home scared to drive my car with no other means of transportation which means I've missed out on making money. I was told by Nissan when it came to my brakes that one of the anti lock brake sensor's were going out making the car think the brakes are locking when they aren't resulting in pulsing brake pedal with grinding sounds. I also had my personal mechanic investigate and he gave me the issue before I even took the car to a Nissan dealer. I still don't understand why Big Red's mechanics couldn't and refused to take the time to look into as my other sources did. My sunroof will not open. There is a belt that squeals, especially when I turn my a/c on making the a/c go in and out so on hot days I've been roasting alive inside that car with no a/c. Just fix the car and it would be greatly appreciated if my tag/title were taken care of for me. Come to find out there is a lien on the title from the previous debtor (Wells Fargo) and I am still waiting to get a title so I can get a tag. **** was upset by the incompetence of his own company that was making me complain so much and told me once again that I could give the car back. I told him I would gladly do so only if they could go find my truck that I "traded in" and give it back to me. He rudely told me that wasn't an option and then told me not to speak to him anymore and to talk to their attorney and walked away. I went outside to get some air and he came back to me and pulled me into an office to be rude and point the finger at me some more then told me they had to make up another purchase agreement in order for me to get another 30day tag. I did sign the agreement and wrote at the bottom of it that this was for the purposes of a another 30day tag only no sale or agreements were made on this day. I did my own research to find out that Wells Fargo has the current lien on the vehicle and that they dealership needs to send them proof that they purchased the vehicle from the previous owner along with a request for a lien release. I was told by **** that the lien and my check for my tt&l would be available to me this week. I will continue to document every encounter I have with these people until I am satisfied with the outcome.

We got our daughter approved for a deal they had for 99 a month and 29 down. When we drove the 180 miles to the dealership she no longer qualified for the deal. We had to co sign for her and we were to recieve 500.00 if we did. We were there until midnight with a 5 year old. No dinner, we told them we would come back cause it was late.They kept saying it was almost done. We got home at 2:30am. We had to have them come to get papers signed 2 different times because they messed them up. They said the check to me would be in the mail with the title which it was not. Have had the car a month and a half and still no check. Have called them 8 times, they say it will be there by end of the week. Never comes. We also had to have them resend the contract because the people at the tab office threw the original away. The copies of that have not come either. I keep getting the run around that someone will call back and I get no call.

Desired Settlement: I would like them to do their job and send the copy of the contract and all paper work my daughter needs for her records since the tab office is not able to do it. Also I would like my 500.00 refund. I would like to see people do their job instead of just ignoring a situation for over a month.

My wife and I went into this dealership to run numbers on what we might be able to get with a Trade In Vehicle. We talked to **** who told us that he would help us out and we had them look at our vehicle and also pull our FICO Score. He went back and forth with his manager I guess that's who he was talking to and coming up with trade in values and asking if we could put anything down. He continued to try and persist in getting us to give them something down etc....at that time we told him we didn't want to do anything. No agreement was made to have our information used to try and get a loan through any financial institutes. Well today I received a Credit Karma alert that Big Red Sports/Imports tried to run a loan along with trying two other companies. One through Ally Financial and one through Microbilt. Neither me nor my wife authorized them to do any type of loan applications just to give some type of numbers. By them running our information without our permission for a loan especially through multiple companies is illegal. Also, we were told that when they do run their loans that they do not do a HARD HIT on our credit report which it did and dropped my credit score down. This better be taken off of my wife and my credit report within 14 days or I will be contacting my Attorney and also the Department of Army Inspector Generals Office at Fort Sill, Oklahoma were I am stationed. I will also contact Tinker Air Force Base Inspector Generals Office in regards to Big Red Sports/Imports ways of business. They new I was a Soldier and was treated like this, is bull.

Complaint: I purchased a truck and was told it was in good condition. Warranty wouldn't cover repairs due to previous owners lack of maintenance. I purchase a Nissan Titan on February 28, 2014 and no damage besides the obvious physical was revealed to me at time of purchase. On the way home from the dealership, I noticed a shaking when driving on the highway. I didn't test drive the vehicle on the highway due to construction issues at the on ramps on either side of the dealership. The salesman, ****** said that it sounded like it needed to be aligned and they would take care of that for me.About a week later, the truck started smoking from the tailpipe upon starting and began to idle roughly. I notified BigRed and that began one of many meetings with the Sales Manager, *****. He said he would make sure that the problem would be fixed and took copious notes as to the problems. He said this issue should be fixed under the warranty that I purchased via Wells Fargo: Warranty Solutions. Big Red had the vehicle in their possession from 3/5-3/11 repairing the items on the We Owe as well as the smoking issue. On 3/11 I got a receipt saying that the smoking was taken care of as well as the items on the We Owe. When I started the vehicle at the dealership, it was still smoking and still does to this day. I, myself, have had the oil changed professionally twice and this has not stopped it from smoking. On April 4, 2014, I made my monthly trip to Wichita, KS as part of my service in the Air Force Reserves. The truck broke down and I was able to make it to ***** *** Ford in Wichita to be repaired using the warranty that I had purchased. The warranty that I purchased through Wells Fargo covered nearly every aspect of the engine up to a new engine. When the claim was made, Warranty Solutions said that an inspector had to come to Rusty Eck Ford to view the repairs that needed to be done. The inspector denied the claim on the basis that there was an inordinate amount of sludge in the engine and for lack of overall maintenance on the vehicle. Since it was determined that the engine could not be fixed, the only solution would be to replace the engine. I had to pay $1,153 to ***** *** to get the vehicle so I could drive it home. Warranty Solutions said that the warranty should have never been sold by Big Red because of the condition of the vehicle. Also, because of the condition of the vehicle, I feel that I was overcharged by Big Red initially. I do not feel safe driving the vehicle due to it's present condition and unfortunately, I have no choice. The truck did not need to be aligned, the shaking is due to a bent wheel which I was not notified of at time of purchase. They said they would work with repairing this issue, but would only put on factory wheels and keep my after market expensive ones. I have spoken to the upper management at Big Red numerous times and feel that I have given them more than enough opportunities to make this right. I do not feel like I am asking for more than what is deserved, I just want to be treated fairly as a consumer and a member of the US Armed Forces.

Desired Settlement: I would like Big Red to reimburse me for the monies spent at ***** *** in the amount of $1,153.00, I would like my down payment in the amount of $500.00 back as well as the amount they gave me for my trade in which was $4,500.00. Complaint: They debited my bank account twice for my down payment, costing me overdraft fees, they have promised a refund and 30 days later, no refund. on April 5th I purchased a KIA Forte from Big Red in Norman, OK. We agreed that they would take my $500.00 deposit off my debit card on the 11th. On Tuesday the 15th, I logged into my bank account to find that Big Red had drawn my down payment out of my account twice also causing an Overdraft fee of $22.50. I contacted Big Red, and the receptionist informed me that finance takes care of those things, she transferred me to the "manager", who said he would investigate it and get back with me. several days went by with no correspondence from them, I contacted them again on the 19th, explained my situation, asked to speak with anyone who could help me sort this situation out, the receptionist then transferred me back to finance, who advised me to bring in my bank statement and they would get it sorted out at that point, there was nothing that could be done over the phone. I went to the dealership on the 21st, Where I was seated at a table and someone would be with me shortly, two hour later a gentleman came up to me and advised me they had put my check in the mail already I would just need to wait for it to get to my house. I waited until the 28th of April, I called back to the dealership and this time spoke with ***** ********* who advised me to fax a copy of my bank statement to him and he would get everything taken care of, I asked him if he was going to refund the overdraft fees that came with this since they caused it, it said whatever will make you happy, he then asked me to call him after I got it faxed into him so he could see that everything was taken care of, I agreed, informed him that I would fax it in to him on the 29th as I was off work. I faxed over my bank statement on the 29th, attempted to contact ***** multiple times before finally reaching him, he said that he was processing the refund and it should be back on my card by tomorrow. I checked my account again on the 30th, refund is still not there, I contacted the dealership again on the 2nd this time I spoke with ***** who gauranteed me he was processing my refund right away and would take the check to my bank and deposit it for me so I didn't have to drive from Guthrie to Norman again. I agreed, he said he would call when he had everything set up, and yet again, never received a call back and still don't have my refund. This issue has caused me to incur late fees relating to my rent (an additional $200.00 in late fees), it has also impacted my ability to cover the tag tax and title on my vehicle that I purchased through them, not to mention the other bills I had set up on automatic payments and the overdraft fees that were incurred from them. So they have effectively cost me an additional $257.50. I loved my sales man, but because of this incident and all the troubles from it, I will never do business with Big Red again!

Desired Settlement: I want the refund of $500.00, plus the additional $200.00 in late fees from rent for being more than 5 days late with rent as well as the $90.00 in Overdraft fees that have been incurred due to this situation.

Complaint: Bought a vehicle from here told nothing was wrong with the car it was just re-possessed, found out it a year later its been wrecked before we owned it My husband and I purchased a 2008 Suzuki XL7 from Big Red in November of 2012 the total sale price o the car was $15,937, with our trade in and $1800 deposit that left a remaining $13,137 to be paid on the car in monthly payments. Before purchasing and signing the agreement, my husband asked our salesman if the car had previously wrecked, because he noticed some differences in the car. The salesman told us that nothing was wrong with the car the only thing that happened to the car was that it was re-possessed. We have gotten to the point that we need a bigger vehicle for our family and went to trade it in with another one of our vehicles. When the car dealership we went to ran reports on both of our cars, the man came and asked us if we knew that the car has previously been wrecked, and that the whole frame of the car had been replaced. We told the salesman that we haven't ever been in a collision and he informed us that the car was involved in a collision and the original frame was totaled before a repossession, and the car being sold at an auction (which Big Red purchased the vehicle at.) This greatly diminished the value of the car and makes the car worth way less than what we owe on the car still. My husband and I are gravely upset to find out that our car that we have had troubles with since we bought it was wrecked and totaled. This is something that should have been revealed to us when we asked before purchasing the car! If we would have known that the car had been wrecked and did not have the original frame we would have looked at another car. We have had nothing but problems with Big Red since we bought the car. The car had been in the shop 2-3 times for different repairs that had to be done. Which also we had made appointments to be worked on because we have a disabled child. We took the cars into the shop when they opened for our morning appointment that we had previously scheduled. Our car sat in the shop until after 6p.m. all times we took the car in to be worked on.

Desired Settlement: We would like to return the car with no damage against our credit scores, or have Big Red pay the car off due to the misleading information that greatly diminished the value of the car!

Complaint: I was sold a car that was supposed to be in 'like new' condition. Within the first day, a puddle of fluid was collecting in my driveway where the car Seven days after I took the car home, I took the car back to the dealership to have the leak fixed. I was told that no leak could be found, but that the seal in the oil plan had been recently changed and that the leak may have been residue from the work performed. I took their word for it, but more than a month later the leak continues. I have called the dealership once, and emailed twice. Each time, I was told that someone would be in touch with me momentarily. I have received no correspondence from Big Red other than automated email replies. I was told that the car was still under factory warranty and I also purchased the extended warranty. I do not wish to do business with a company that does not honor its word or keep promises to its customers. In addition to this, it was later discovered that my wife's name was added to the credit application against my wishes. My credit is not perfect, and wife's credit score is considerably less than mine. Now we are both receiving credit denial letters which result in additional adverse effects on our credit scores. Overall, high pressure and poor business practices.

Desired Settlement: I want to cancel my finance contract, return the car that is obviously not in 'like new' condition (NOT a voluntary repossession), and if possible, have my trade-in returned to me.

The sales person followed me to my home in Shawnee to obtain signatures that, again, I assumed were necessary for titling purposes. It was around midnight before I arrived home. I had to wake my wife to inform her that some of the paperwork required her signature. Not long after, the sales person arrived to collect the signatures. I felt that the sales person following me home in the middle of the night was extremely out of the ordinary, but I was told that without her signature the sale could not be finalized. I assure you, neither of us had the slightest idea that her required signatures were credit or loan related. It is for this reason that I believe there may have been a difference in price, and why I feel that assuming responsibility of tag, title and tax would be fair compensation. I appreciate what you have done so far, but looking back on the events that have transpired make me feel that I was taken advantage of in a high pressure situation. Complaint: Internet Price did not accurately reflect sales price, no disclosure on internet vs actual price. Purchased a 2013 Toyota Tacoma on Saturday, February 1st, 2014 from Big Red Sports. I found it online on the Big Red website. I was intended to cash in on the internet price, however upon going into the dealer, they told me the internet price was with a 20% down payment. This information is nowhere on the website. The fine print at the bottom mentions this is after applicable rebates, however being a used Toyota at a Kia dealer, no rebates would have applied. I ended up paying just over $36000 for the truck. This was MORE than the Retail price listed on the website, and well over the Kelley Blue Book Value and NADA value. While my decision to go through with the purchase was dumb, I also feel Big Red Sports misrepresented the online price without full disclosure on what it meant.

Desired Settlement: I would like to re-negotiate with Big Red to bring the sales price down to the internet price. Since it was financed, this will also mean reworking a deal with TFCU to lower the amount financed.

Complaint: 01/13 purchased 2001 bmw 330ci convertible. convertible top did not work prior to purchase. prepaid for repair. still not repaired as of 01/14 dealer added $2000 to purchase price for repair of convertible top. dealer had vehicle for one month after purchase(I never even took possession). called me after a month to tell me it was repaired and to pick up. when I picked it up found out it was not repaired. told the shop they took it to couldn't fix it. vehicle was in their shop recently for water pump repair and told them to repair top. they are telling me they do not have the capability to make this repair. have asked for the $2000 to be removed from my loan (loan through tinker credit union)plus credit applied to said loan for the additional interest I have been charged. basically asking to rewrite the loan less the $2000 and interest, then applying all payments I have made to the new loan. doesn't matter to me how it's done, I just want it resolved. not getting any response from big red. need help. they are trying to steal/cheat me out of a substantial amount of money. it's not right or fair to me.

Desired Settlement: take the $2000 dollars off the original loan, plus credit towards the principal all the extra interest I have paid due to the extra $2000 being on the original loan.

I am honestly not trying to rip anyone off in any way. I paid $2000 more than the original asking price for this car only because that was how much it was estimated to repair the convertible top. the internet sales manager at that time, lisa bell, will confirm everything and every word I am claiming here. I am being totally honest and am offended by the fact that big red's initial response is to say "every thing this customer claims is a lie". I have written evidence, text message communications that will confirm everything, and the internet sales manager confirmation/verification. I also have text message communications to the sales manager and service manager that I can retrieve that will verify that this vehicle was at that shop awaiting repair for over a month prior to me taking possession but AFTER I purchased it on 2/6/13. Complaint: Referral program not honored (vehicle purchased in October 2013 and referral check for $200 still not received) I purchase a vehicle in October 2013 and was informed of the referral program. If I referred someone and they purchased a vehicle I would receive a check for $200. I call daily to check on the status of the check and after being placed on hold for 10-15 minutes each time, I am then hung up on. I have still not received the referral check.

Complaint: I signed a hail disclosure that I was led to believe was an agreement for trading my hair damaged car in, not buying a new car with hail damage. On May 28th, 2013, a week after the Moore tornado, I stopped at Big Red Kia to check out some used cars. I had been hearing on the radio that they were doing some major discounting on cars that had been hailed on, as well as giving good trade in values if you bought a new car. I had no intentions of making a purchase that day, I just stopped to see what used cars they had in stock. My car had been severely damaged by a hail storm in Oklahoma City in early May. I was expecting a $5,400 check in the mail in the next week and was planning to buy a newer car and trade mine in. I began talking to ******, the sales person, and I told him what I was wanting. We test drove a few 2012 Kia Fortes, when he said he was going to pull a new one up so I could test drive that as well. I test drove a white 2014, 4 door, Kia Forte. I had also asked to see the blue one that was parked up front. I had noticed neither car had the price listed in the window, nor did it have anything giving you the list of options, gas mileage, ect. I thought that was funny, but went on test driving. After two hours, I decided I wanted the white 2014 I had driven. I filled out a sheet so the sales man could run my credit to see if I could be approved. I asked how much the car was after he told me I had been approved and he said, "don't worry about it, we're going to get you fixed up". One of the new car sales managers came to talk to me about what I wanted my payment to be, as well as interest rates and such. I told him to see what they could do for me and I would decide if I was taking the car home. They told me they would pay off my trade in with the help of my insurance check and they would give me a disaster relief rebate for trading in a hail damaged car. When I first started shopping, I made it very clear to them, that if I bought a car, I wanted on that had never been fixed in any way, especially from hail damage. I spent 5 hours in the dealership before I got to the room where I would sign all the paper work and get the final numbers. I went through the entire process of paper work and got all my things from my old car. It was 10:30 at night when I drove my new car off the lot. I had been at the dealership for 6 hours. Because it was so late when I left, my car had not been detailed and fully cleaned since the dealership had actually closed at 9 p.m. The morning after getting home, I saw a ding on the top of my brand new car I had just paid $23,000 for. I tried calling the dealership and kept getting hung up on. Three days later I finally talked to someone and he asked me to bring the car down. The next week I drove from Oklahoma City to Norman to let them take a look at the car. He said they would fix the ding for free, but that I'd have to give them 2 days notice before I brought in. I have a close friend that owns a hail dent repair shop and he told me to bring it in and he'd fix the ding for free so that I wouldn't have to drive to Norman again. I took it to him two and a half months after I bought the car and he tells me that it has already been hail damaged and repaired. I had no idea that I had just bought a brand new car, with hail damage that had only been half way repaired since he explained to me there was several dents on the roof as well as the rails above the doors. I called the dealership and got hung up on several times before speaking to someone. I finally did talk to someone, and he told me I'd have to bring the car down and we'd look at my paperwork. So, again, I drove to Norman to talk to them about damage I didn't know my car had prior to me buying it. I get there, and I talk to the new car sales manager that helped me get financed. He says that he needs to talk to **** and that he'll get back to me. While I was there, they had their hail dent repair specialist take a look at my car. Complaint: Big Red has a very poor unqualified service department! Coming up on 5 weeks and still don't have my car repaired. I bought a new Suzuki XL-7 in January of 2007. Every time I take it into Big Reds service center I end up leaving in the same boat I arrived in. Ex: 1)Took the SUV in because the passenger *** bag may/may not come on with someone sitting in it. That was never fixed. They said the person isn't sitting in the seat correctly. 2)The SUV was loosing break fluid and having to add every 2 weeks. Took it to the service center and they never figured out where the fluid was leaking out. I figured out that the master cylinder cap wasn't getting a good seal. So I called Big Red to order a new cap. They tried to sell me one for $100+. I went to chevy dealer in Shawnee and bought the same one for $18 and some change. 3) Now I set up an appt to drop the vehicle off on 8-5-13 and gave ***** all of my info to contact me. When the vehicle gets hot the breaks slowly lock up to the point that it won't move until it cools down and the breaks release. My wife dropped it off that evening and he insisted on getting her phone number. She gave it to him and told him to call ***** not her. In the beginning he tried calling her instead of who he was instructed to call. At first they said it needed a break fluid flush ($160). Then They diagnosed the problem as a $2000 repair. ***** got in touch with Mellenium (my extended warrantee). Due to the price of the repair they sent someone out to inspect the vehicle and approve the repair. Big Red was unable to prove the problem therefore the repair was denied and so was a rental car. ***** said they drove it every day up to 8/21/2013 and could never reproduce the problem. Prior to this date he said the flush would not fix the problem. Then changed the story to it must have fixed the problem. I drove it home the evening of the 21st. It was drove 2 miles the 22and about 5 miles the 23rd and it locked up in the bank drive thru. My wife finally got it out of the way parked it on the side of the road and had to walk home. I called ***** and he told me he would get in touch with the warrantee and get back to me. I called him back sat. and mon. Since he didnt get back with me. He then said to bring it in and it would get fixed. After prying info out of ***** it wasn't going to get fixed. It had to be returned to Big Red so they could prove the issue to the warrantee. I had to put it on a trailor and haul it back on tue 8/27/13 since no one would pay the $225 tow truck fee. They finally showed the computer codes to the inspector and that was all he needed for the approval. Should have done that in the first place! The repair was approved on 8/28-29. We have been told every day since 8/30 that it will be ready the next day and then when that day comes they promise the next day. Nobody has been keeping in touch with us, I have to call daily to get an update and they always give excuses to why its not done. The last two days they have said they are having computer problems with the car and a Suzuki tech is coming out 9/4. Today they told me the same thing except now the Suzuki tech is coming out 9/5. Nobody has offered us a rental car so my wife has had to borrow cars and bumb rides for almost 5 weeks. If they would have shown the computer codes the first time instead of resetting them when the inspector came out the car would have been fixed within the first two weeks not still waiting almost five weeks later with twice the headache. I have on three seperate occasions asked to speak to the GM or him to get intouch with me over this matter and have yet to be able to speak to him or any manager for that matter. Im afraid we are going to get it back now and have twice the problems we have ever had!

Desired Settlement: 1)Have my vehicle Correctly Repaired! 2)I'm requesting to be reimbursed for the $160 fluid flush. 3)I'm requesting Big Red Sports/Imports pay the $200 deductible and any other fees accrued during this time. 4) That I be paid the daily auto rental fee for the total amount of time we have been without a vehicle. (Ex: 44.20 per day X 30 days = $1326) 5) Set us up with 2 more years of Extended warrantee service at the expence of Big Red Sports/Imports for the possibility of any additional problems they may have caused to this vehicle.

His resolution was to pay me twice the cost of the fluid flush. Then it ended up that he is going to pay me back the money from the fluid flush plus the deductible. The reason why I do not accept this resolution is because R ****** then went on to say that if I had bought the car from big red he could do more for me. I told him I did buy it from them. He said, I have no record of it. I told him I have all my paper work and I can prove it. He said it doesn't matter because I must have bought it under a previous owner and they have a different owner and extended warrantee service now. That tells me that they don't care about return customers! Complaint: Have called the two saleman I worked with in reference to my TT&L payment and neither have returned my calls. When speaking with ****** ***** on the phone he told me the dealership was paying TT&L on all vehicles purchased during the month of August. THis is one of the main reasons we went to the dealership to purchase our Toyota RAV4 on August 3. After spending almost five hours there and completing our paperwork we left with our new vehicle. I was led to believe we would receive a check in the mail in approxinately 10 days after our purchase. However all I received was the title and other required paperwork, This is when I started calling. I called and emailed ******* first and when I did not receive a response I called and left a message with ****** When I called and spoke with a manager on September 2nd about by battery I also asked about the TT&L and he informed me it must be written into our contract and since it wasn't there wasn't he didn't know if there was anything they could do and he would have ***** call me. ***** still has not called. I asked again when I was at the dealership getting my battery replaced and no one answered my question. It was just blown off. If this is a requirement customers need to be told this and asked if this is something they want. When talking to a potential customer on the phone the rules for using this incentive should be made clear. I bought my car there because the TT&L would be paid and they had the car in stock I wanted. Plus I had heard good things about the business. Now I feel as though I did not get a very good deal. Not only did I have to fight to get my battery replaced, now I am getting the run around and no clear answers or help on getting the TT&L paid. There should be an easy fix for this problem.

Complaint: Needed new battery and was told it would be taken care of but when I arrived at the dealer there were no notes of my conversation with the manager I purchased a Toyota RAV4 on August 3. On September 1st the battery went bad and the vehicle had to be jumped in order to start. I called the dealership on September 2nd, after returning from the lake and spoke with a sales manager (who failed to give his name) and explained the situation. He said I could bring the vehicle in and they would get it taken care of. I took the vehilce to the service department on the September 3 and the gentleman in the service department could not find any notes in reference to the conversation from the day before and said he could not replace the battery free without authorization. I went up front and spoke with a manager who looked in my file and said since I have an extended warranty on the vehicle they would replace the battery but I would have to pay for the parts and labor because I was outside my 30 day window. First off, the car is still under its factory warranty. Secondly, yes the day I brought the vehicle in was one day past by 30 days, but I called on the 30th day. I do not feel I should have had to pay for anything. No notes were made in my file from the conversation I had with the manager from the day before. This is bad business, but I guess it is one way to get around having to pay for something. Plus I was there for almost two and a half hours for which I had to take time off from work. No one asked if I needed to get back to work and did not seem to be in any hurry to get my matter resolved.

Desired Settlement: I would like to have my $27 refunded. This is the amount I paid for the parts and labor. I do not feel I should have had to pay the money.

Complaint: Lied to me and said I was approved & let me take the car off the lot that day! I recently bought a car from Big Red Sports and they knew that neither I or my fiance had any credit. They told us that they would do a credit building loan on the car and said we would be approved that day. We went into financing and they said everything was fine we didn't need a cosigner that we would be approved on our own. It has been a week and they harrassed my fiance, my work, my fiance's parents and myself demanding I come in that night or they would reposess my car which would destroy any chance of getting good credit. I called in late to work so I could handle this & the finance guy told me I needed a co-signer. I have my grandpa willing to co-sign but due to him being in FL they said he wouldn't help us. I then asked, "So basically, If I don't get a cosigner in the next 15 minutes you're going to take my car away?". He told me that was standard procedure. I began crying my eyes out & trying to find a ride home when he came in about 5 minutes later and saw me crying he told me I needed to remove my things from the car. I proceded to get my things and sit in their lobby crying while waiting on my ride. In the meantime he proceded to sit down with me and say well if you get a co-signer we could get you in another vehicle. ARE YOU KIDDING? TRYING TO SELL TO ME AFTER YOU TAKE MY CAR? I'm sorry but the business is way to pushy on sales & they really don't explain anything to you when signing. They barely answer your questions as if they're avoiding the right answer. I am truely ashamed at the treatment I recieved here as well as how it seemed I heard different things from all different people.

Desired Settlement: fullfillment of the agreement we had signed on 8/14/13 & details of purchasing a 2013 Kia Rio.
