    I, Dyquawn Northern, rented a one bedroom apartment from Quail Lakes Apartment from 02/17/23 - 02/29/24. Initially when I signed my lease the property manager named *** explained to me that every apartment is freshly painted upon move in. I asked if I could hang pictures and /or tvs, she said that wouldnt be a problem as long as I patched the holes and not to worry about painting because all apartment are painted before each new tenant. Around, September 2023 unknowingly to me as a tenant I went to the property office looking for Sky the prior manager..only to find out the property was under new management. During that time the new management didnt inform of any new rules or regulations. During my year lease the apartment that I was given a tour was nothing like my actual apartment. Upon moving in I had to put in multiple maintenance orders due to the property having issues not suitable to live in. In February 29, 2024 I moved out cleaned the property and patched the holes like I was informed to do by Sky the property manager that I communicated and signed my lease agreement with. I did not receive my security deposit instead, a week later I received a email of a breakdown in things I owe. One of the things was painting although I got content from the manager named *** informing me that it was ok. Also ******** law states that a tenant is not responsible for normal water and tear.

    Crime infested complex. You hear gunshots all the time. Several ppl have been shot just in the year I lived here. Can't tell you how many drug deals I have seen through my window. Also, car has been broken into several times. Had to replace 4 windows in one year. Management is also horrible. Super nice before you move in and very unprofessional afterward. Went without a/c for 7 weeks at tge beginning of the summer. Had to threaten to withold rent before they will fix it. Didnt get a key to the mailbox for 4 weeks. Also, bugs, mice and bed bugs. If you complain about it, they will send pest control and charge you $700 for a continual problem they had long before you moved in. DO NOT MOVE HERE. LIFE WILL BE MISERABLE.
