Complaint CONTRACTOR WIRED SPA HEATER IN WRONG AND REFUSES TO RETURN AND REWIRE PER MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. 4-1-14 I NOTIFIED PRO ELECTRIC THAT THE HEATER WAS NOT WIRED PROPERLY. He said he did not install spa heater but he would take a look at it for 85.00 hour. He was provoded a heater and spa equipment and he wired in this heater and was paid $2250.00 on 11-15-13. On 4-7-14 he refused to return.
Desired Settlement I would like him to return and wire spa properly per the manufacturer recommendation Raypak XXX-XXX-XXXX or reimburse me so I can have someone else do it.
Business Response First off, we did not wire anything improperly. Everything was in proper working condition when we left. This equipment has been in place and working for 10 months. The reason we no longer work for ****** Pools is because it took them 8 months to pay us after the work had been completed. They did not pay us the complete amount on our invoices, they paid us what they wanted to pay.
Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The heater was not wired properly per the manufacurer-Raypak. Pro electric wired in the heater several months ago and since this time the heater has not been used or tested because there was no gas line to the unit. The gas line was just connected and the heater tested. We discovered it was not working due to the improper wiring. Pro electric was paid the complete amount of their invoices and I have their invoices and my cancelled checks to prove it. We had trouble getting them to complete their work and they were upset when we refused to pay them until they were complete.
Final Business Response #XXXXXXXX First of all we did not wire anything improperly everything has been working just fine for 10 months. Secondly we do not work for ****** Pools DBA ****** ******, because they did not pay us on time and sent us partial payments over 6 or 7 month period and not for the amounts we billed them for. We had to threaten them to put liens on all the properties to get them to pay us. Every time they called us we ran and fixed everything that they had requested us to fix which was not appreciated by them.
