"Can You Hear Me" Scam Targets NWNC Residents

Better Business Bureau is hearing from consumers across the country who've received calls aimed at making them say the word "yes." In most cases, they do so by posing the question, "Can you hear me?" After consumers respond, the caller or recording continues onto a sphiel about a disney vacation deal or some other opportunity.

If you say you're not interested, the caller is able to replay your "yes," which he or she claims is your commitment to purchasing the vacation or deal.
