Brian Wright, President / CEO
As president & CEO, Brian promotes self-regulation and ethical business practices throughout the entire business community. He serves as the ultimate visual presence of BBB and alerts the community to good buying practices, as well as to trends in unethical, deceptive or unfair business practices. He is responsible for ensuring a productive, successful and profitable service organization.
I am a graduate of Elon University. In my free time, I enjoy automobiles, golf, hiking and outdoor activities. I am happily married and am always excited to spend time with my three children.
I enjoy learning the stories of trust and integrity from the leaders throughout our community and serving consumers who seek a voice.

Kristie Angel, Business Credibility Agent
A loyal BBB employee of 15 years, Kristie wears many hats. When consumers call to inquire about the reliability of a company, Kristie answers. She is responsible for accrediting prospective businesses. Kristie also performs advertising reviews for both accredited and non-accredited businesses.
My family is my hobby. Having four kids involved in all sports – baseball, softball, tae kwon do, cross country – I am pulled in many directions. I volunteer with local non-profits, including Arts for Life through Brenner Children's Hospital and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Having a son with Type 1 Diabetes, both organizations have touched his life.
I enjoy helping people, especially senior citizens. I always imagine my Grandparents are on the other end of the line!

Kelly oversees operational performance, ensuring we adhere to BBB standards. She is tasked with facilitating our policy and procedure handbook and also manages internal team cross-training. Last, but not least, Kelly is responsible for all of our investigative work.
Having graduated from NC State University with a few science degrees, I worked for 20 years in various industries like environmental testing, battery manufacturing, and auto repair & towing. I was able to spend a wonderful summer riding my motorcycle over 12,000 miles around the US. I love to knit and shop for yarn.
One of the highlights of working for the BBB is having the opportunity to help people learn about scams and how to avoid them.

Debi Servidio, Office Manager
As Office Manager, Debi serves as assistant to the President. She is responsible for maintaining all financial records including accounts payables/receivables, payroll, monthly and quarterly reports and audit preparation. But she does so much more! She trouble shoots for our office equipment and communications networks, and keeps the office stocked with necessary supplies. A BBB employee of 30 years, she is the go-to for any questions consumers, businesses or staff have, if no one else can answer.
I enjoy crafts, especially scrapbooking. I collect cat figurines, bird houses and purple amethyst glass. Other past-times include decorating, shopping and reading. My favorite “hobby” is spending time with my grandson.
It’s never boring! I’ve quit saying “I’ve heard it all”, because I’ve learned I haven’t. I love our BBB team. I believe what we do serves an important purpose in the community – for businesses and consumers.

Johana Diaz, Dispute & Business Relations Specialist
Johana processes complaints from the start to close and investigates patterns of complaints. She now handles BBB’s Customer Review services. She is extremely excited to serve as our Hispanic Liason, reaching out to the local community of Spanish-speakers to enlighten them on how BBB services can help. She is also the point of contact for our Accredited Businesses.
I am a Public Notary and am fluent in Spanish. Outside of work, I enjoy bonfires, playing pool, cooking, and listening and dancing to Latin music. Having moved from Southern California to Northwest NC, I am always finding new things to do out in the “country.”
We all have a mutual, genuine goal of helping our community, so definitely the atmosphere. When you do good, you feel good.

Claire Barham, Communications Specialist
Claire educates and trains businesses on ways to promote their BBB Accreditation. She creates and distributes all BBB communications to businesses and consumers using email newsletters, social media and traditional earned media. She serves as the liaison between business development and operations.
I earned my B.A. in Communication Studies from UNCW. Prior to BBB, I served as the PR Director for a marketing agency in Wilmington, NC. I live with my husband, pet bunny and puppy in Winston-Salem. My favorite past-times include watching football (Roll Tide & Go Panthers), trying new restaurants, finding steals at thrift shops and planning my next weekend escape.
When I wrapped my head around all the good that BBB does, I knew it was for me. And it’s been a fantastic experience thus far. I couldn’t ask for a healthier, more fun work environment. The team is so dedicated.

Bruce Palmer, Sr. Business Development Executive
Bruce opens the eyes of many business owners to why BBB accreditation is a win-win for both their business and the customers they hope to serve. He is the face of BBB at many networking events, always building relationships with professionals who can benefit from our accreditation services.
I’m a certified Project Manager and have worked for two companies in an account management capacity. I was raised in King, NC – part of the region we serve. My favorite hobby is surrounding myself with friends that inspire one another to do great things.
I enjoy learning from the business owners I meet. They each have their own personal experiences in business -- something I never get tired of hearing about.
