BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating Overview
BBB Customer Reviews Rating represents the customers opinions of the business. The Customer Review Rating is based on the number of positive, neutral and negative customer reviews posted that are calculated to produce a score.
|Customer Review Experience||Value|
|Positive Review||5 points per review|
|Neutral Review||3 points per review|
|Negative Review||1 point per review|
BBB letter grades represent the BBB's opinion of the business. The BBB grade is based on BBB file information about the business. In some cases, a business' grade may be lowered if the BBB does not have sufficient information about the business despite BBB requests for that information from the business.
BBB Letter Grade Scale
Star Rating scale
BBB Customer Review Rating plus BBB Rating is not a guarantee of a business' reliability or performance, and BBB recommends that consumers consider a business' BBB Rating and Customer Review Rating in addition to all other available information about the business. If the BBB Rating is NR then only Customer Reviews are used for the Star Rating.

Complaint: My car had an electrical issue with the blower motor on AC unit. They replaced that but then the display would intermittently display dashes instead of information. When dashes were visible the car would stop starting every few days thus making me jump start the car. I was then told that the alternator was bad along with the battery I complained and explained this occurred because of the original problem of the motor blower issue not resolving my situation. They insisted it was because of the alternator not the blower. I did not believe this but took their advice and replaced the alternator and battery at my expense again. The car continued showing these dashes and having intermittent starting problems. I had to have the car towed several times each time ******* denying that it was anything other than simply forgetting to close a door properly or leaving the lights on. This continued for some time then the alternator went bad again starting the whole process over for the second time. I drew the line with them at this point being stranded in Walkertown more than an hour from my house. When I asked them to tow me to their shop they agreed but said I would have to pay the bill and if they found a problem with their previous work they would reinburse me. This was not acceptable the towing bill would have been astronimical.I called a local tow truck who came out and found loose wires from ******* sloppy work and pointed it out to me on the spot.They also tested the new alternator ******* had put on about 3? months earlier and found it was dead as well causing the car once again not to start. I took the alternator to them a couple of days later after having it independently tested at Advance Auto (where the alternator was purchased by them) and ******* said there was no warranty on the alternator.I took my complaint to the service tech,service manager,owner with no resolution.I am claiming original work slack and they ignored my assesment of original underlying cause of entire problem.
Desired Settlement: I want my last bill reinbursed $300 I incurred for the bad alternator,towing and bad original service(ground wire lose).Problem could have been avoided if they had listened to my opinion on the original issue complaint instead of insisting the only problem was the alternator. I am a senior citizen and live on a fixed income.I previously bought a car from them and feel I deserved better customer retention service recovery skills than were demonstrated.Therefore I want an apology as well.
BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
