Complaint
Mr ******* performed work not authorized in the contract and charged me for it. This work did not need to be done and only served to increase my bill.
Mr ******* installed a weatherproof panel to the outside of my building which was clearly not needed nor authorized in the contract. He charged me for this and to ground the panel.

Desired Settlement
I would like $ 150.00 returned to me

Business Response
l originally gave ***** a contracted price of 4496.73 to bid wiring his garage. He paid a down
payment of 2698.03 on the rough in wiring ;leaving the balance 1798.70. when l was billing out
the trim in wiring I gave him a credit on all the light fixtures that He chose to furnish on the job.
When his concrete man was working he neglected to stub up the rebar to be able to ground the
slab and electrical work so he had to have his concrete man bust up the concrete and re expose
the rebar . at which time, I had to make a special trip back out to the job to ground the rebar so
that the job would be able to pass the electrical inspection. i-le had also installed brick on the
inside of the garage leaving me the only option to set a weather proof panel on the exterior of
the garage so th electrical would pass inspection, This was not included in the original bid,
but had to be added, due to no fault of my own, but due to the only feasible option left to
complete the job so that it would pass inspection, due to the consumer': lack of knowledge
of the electrical code, this was a change order to original bid and is not refundable.
Note: l also had to place a lien on the nal job in order to get the consumer to pay his nal bill
which cost me additional costs of 28.50 to place the lien and 40.00 to release the lien when the
consumer paid the job; which I did not charge him for, He is not owned a refund, Thank you
