Insurance - Florida House Bill

The State of Florida has passed House Bill 149 which applies to the policy owners of insurance policies living in the State of Florida. This Bill offers you the option to designate a secondary addressee to receive a copy of the past due premium notice/pending termination notice. If you designate a secondary addressee, a copy of the past due premium notice/pending termination notice at the same time will be mailed to that individual.
Before selecting an insurance agent or company, be sure to do your homework. Start with to find a list of BBB Accredited insurance agents locally. You can also research the financial strength of insurance companies with directories such as A.M. Best and Standard & Poor's
