Contracts

When a business transaction is being made, make sure all information is in writing. REMEMBER - a person's word is JUST THAT, but a dealer's contract is a legal obligation. When an oral agreement has been made, there is no way to back up the agreement and/or promises being made to the customer. Oral promises are not always legally binding. Do not be pressured into signing any agreement before you are ready and you understand all terms and conditions. Be wary of any vaguely worded provisions, exclusions or limitations which could pose a problem later. Never sign a contract with sections left blank. You may also wish to have your legal counselor review the contract before signing.
