I had my truck stolen on 12/28/23 in the morning. On 12/29/23 it was found by the sheriffs department and I was too far away to recover it so the sheriffs department had Genes Towing tow it to their yard. The truck is in my wifes name so she called the insurance company because we have theft insurance on the truck. She also was in contact with Genes. Liberty tried a 3 way call but Genes wouldnt answer multiple calls. Liberty finally got a hold of ***** at Genes and the truck was allowed to be released from their yard. ***** at Genes told my wife over the phone multiple times that we didnt have to come in to get the truck because they can and will deliver it to our house and the insurance will cover it. ***** also said that because it was so early in the day it would be in our best interest to have it delivered before they are shut down for a 3 day holiday weekend. Around 6pm on 12/29/23 the truck still wasnt delivered. My wife called Genes towing and the person who answered was rude and unprofessional. He said that Genes does not offer towing, he said my wife is a liar, he would not give his name, he threatened to keep our truck for auction and he hung up on my wife who was not being confrontational. My wife has some of the phone conversation on video. We are out a vehicle, we are at the mercy of shady business practices, liberty mutual could fight us on what should be covered and we face missing work to get the truck before Genes does more harm
