Called Sarkinen Plumbing on October 18th to have them come out due to a water leak as instructed by my insurance company when I reported my claim. ***************** advised I needed a plumber to diagnose, a mitigation company to handle drying out the water damage and a contractor to repair.I was told by the person answering that Sarkinen Restoration could handle everything (all three services) for me. Sent out **** ( manager for the ******************** who advised there was a broken angle pipe and they would be out on Oct 20th to start work.On October 24th I asked **** if he had completed the Plumber Statement that had been requested by my insurance company asking about damages and scope of work. **** advised he has never seen one of those (plumbers statement) before. Perhaps the fact that **** is not a certified plumber might be why he had never seen one.On October 20th the crew comes into my house damage involves both master and guest bathrooms as they share a common wallpulls out vanities, flood cut mater bathroom walls , break another pipe in the hall bathroom, pull some entryway flooring, install plastic sheeting and equipment and leave. Total amount of damage is an area less than 100 square feet (total square footage of my house is less than 1350 sq feet).Equipment stops within an hour of them leaving because the new guy didnt know how to hook up the equipment properly. Sarkinen doesnt come back out until October 22nd to get things running again. We get one check on the 23rd and the 24th. Sarkinen doesnt have guys to check equipment and were not able to pick-up equipment until the 29th. 9 days that was really done in 3 but my insurance company was billed for 7.Charges came to over $18,000 my insurance company has paid over $10,000I was just billed $4023.00
