I am filing a complaint regarding our recent experience with Browns Plumbing **************************** At initial visit a technician from your company visited our premises and upsold us a new pump, claiming that our current, working salt water system, was corrosive and difficult to maintain. In July (less than 1yr), the new pump failed, we contacted your company, and a technician came to assess the issue. He assured us a replacement pump would be installed once it was in stock and advised us to leave the malfunctioning pump running. Several months later, in November, my husband followed up on the matter again, after many previous calls and was instructed to visit the store to pick up the replacement pump. Shockingly, we were informed that an additional $250 charge would be levied for the installation, despite the previous assurances of a replacement.Moreover, when I communicated this discrepancy to *************, the owner of the company, and reminded him of the commitment made by his business, he dismissively insisted on the $250 charge, stating there were no alternatives and displaying a complete disregard for the commitment made earlier. This conduct is not only unprofessional but also exhibits a concerning level of dismissiveness and a lack of accountability."This situation is further compounded by the alarming trend of recent 1-star Yelp reviews, with multiple customers reporting similar issues and, most worryingly, two instances of properties being flooded due to pump failures. The absence of resolution for our matter and the consistency of unresolved complaints paint a distressing picture. Regrettably, it appears that there's a pattern of disregard for customer satisfaction and a lack of accountability within Browns Plumbing and Pumps. This serves as a warning to other consumers to exercise caution when engaging with this company.

Sorry we missed the **** on communication on this job.  This generally has not been an issue in the past with us.  We will work to improve.
