On my first order of 3 orchids, one of the orchids was a bare root seedling , not a 4" pot blooming size. I contacted them and we agreed that on my second order they would issue credit for freight. Hopefully they did. The second order orchids were as advertised. I placed a third order for 3 orchids since they had a 30% discount and a promotion of $19.99 for freight. On this third order one orchid was shipped on a 2" pot, NOT the 4" pot/blooming size as per their website. I requested a credit for this orchid, they responded by asking for a picture. I sent the picture. I was told, well, that is what you bought and admitted that it is much smaller than what was described on their website "by mistake". They want me to pack and ship the orchid back AT MY EXPENSE! Upon receiving the orchid, they will issue credit. A great "tactic" on their part to avoid returns! Freight alone will be as much as the orchid after the discount! These folks are hit and miss. What is described on their website may or may NOT be what you get! BUYER BE WARE!!!!!

This customer did contact us about his concern over the pot size of his orchid. However, as typical with reviews as his, he's not being fully honest with his explanation. The plant he received was advertised in a 4" pot, but the pot actually measures 3.75" (a standard in nursery pots/industry and called a 4" pot (like a 2"x4" board is really not 2"x4" anymore, nursery pots are the same)). He acknowledged the plant was great, healthy and he liked the plant and wanted to keep it. But he repeatedly argued that the pot was 3.75" and not 4". Not sure where he came up with the 2" pot as we've never sold this plant, ever, in a 2" pot (until last week and the product has not even arrived yet). Again, he hounded us repeatedly about the pot size, not the plant, even though he was happy with the plant. We explained to him numerous times that the pot was a 3.75" pot, considered a 4" pot but he was relentless in trying to get the plant for free. Additionally, we advertised this plant as 'near blooming size' not blooming size as he states, and which is why it was on sale for half price. We asked him to send the plant back if he was not happy, but he made it clear it he was happy with the plant but wanted the plant for free, didn't want to send it back as he wanted to keep it. He made it clear if we did not do as he wanted, he would go out to leave negative reviews and get his money back. We don't play to extortion, but we must wait for their negative reviews to start appearing. 13 years in business, 27,000+ orders, 19,000+ customers (8000 customers have ordered numerous times so we can't be too bad). As for 'packing up the orchid...' and sending it back, yes, it's stated very clearly on our website as to our return policy. We enforce this policy as needed to stop customers like this from taking advantage. It was clear from his first email; he wanted the plant for free and made his demands for such.
