    Timeline:1/31/24 - I placed an online order for the "outsunny chaisse lounge - set of 2) in the amount of $376.29 via the Aosom website 2/6/24 - received the furniture and my husband attempted to assemble but was not able to as the holes did not line up with the screws. I called the business and they said I needed to send pictures - no further info other than send pictures. I asked to have a manager call me back and was told someone would call within 24 hours. 2/12/24 - I did not hear back from anyone despite multiple attempts ( via email feedback) to restate my case about the defective product. I submitted pictures and was told someone would get back to me within an hour 2/13/24 - No one from Aosom called me back so i called and was told that I did not understand how to assemble furniture and they suggested I hire a handyman 2/15/24 - I had a handyman look at the furniture and he stated it could only be put together with additional drilling. I send this to the company in an email and was told I could return the product. 2/28/24 - I returned the product on or about 2/20 and was only given a partial refund of $301.05. I am still owed $75.24 as i should not be liable for return shipping on a defective product.

    My recent encounter with Aosom, facilitated through ****** platform, has been incredibly disappointing. I purchased a computer chair with massage function, only to receive a product missing essential components such as the piston, wheels, and legs. Despite assurances of a replacement, the subsequent delivery was even more deficient, indicating a glaring lack of quality control and oversight within Aosom's operations.Furthermore, the condition of the box, which had been resealed with multiple layers of tape, raises concerns about the integrity of Aosom's supply chain. Despite multiple attempts to rectify the situation, communication regarding return and refund procedures has been lacking, exacerbating the frustration.This experience not only reflects poorly on Aosom's commitment to customer satisfaction but also raises questions about ****** oversight of the vendors they endorse. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with Aosom and hope that ****** will take appropriate action to address this matter.

    Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am so sorry to hear the original item as well as the full replacement item we provided was missing parts. I was able to locate your order in our system and review all of the correspondence and do see you have been assisted with this issue and are receiving a full refund, as the replacement was missing parts. Please keep an eye out for the email containing the pick-up information for the item.

    In regard to the quality control issue you mentioned, all of the items arrive to us pre-packed from the manufacturers overseas, so we unfortunately do not know about missing parts, or any possible issues with the item, until the customer does. Now that we know two items have had issues, we can pass the information to our product team to look into as there may possibly be a problem with the entire batch, we again thank you for providing us with this valuable information.
