    In early August 2021, we hired *** of ****** Eastside to repair a leak in our backyard pond. We paid him $2800 on August 25 to cover materials. He repeatedly missed scheduled appointments with no advance notice nor explanation from August to October. In November we made a mutual decision to defer the work for the Winter. On February 27, 2022, we texted *** to seek repair of the pond before the busy Spring season. *** finally returned the call on March 12, 2022 saying that he would come out on 3/18 or 3/19. He did come on the 19th and described the approach he proposed to fix the pond. We asked for a written contract and the fee estimate in writing. On April 6 we called him seeking the estimate and a firm start date. After a second follow up email on April 14 in which we pointed out to *** that this project to fix a leak in a modest pond had started 9 months ago and we needed the estimates and a start date or we would need to find another contractor. Nearly a month later, on May 13, *** texted an estimate of another $6,300 (in addition to the initial $2,800) to repair the pond and he listed the deliverables. He also committed to starting on May 24. Further, he asked for an additional $2,800 advance against the $6,300 for materials. We provided a check for that amount to *** which was posted on May16. Again, he did not show up on the 24th with no warning and no explanation. We texted him on May 27 asking for the courtesy of a response and complaining that this "was not good client service." We still haven't seen or heard from them. Throughout this process we attempted to contact the ****** Eastside main office. The listed number was the same cell number for *** and was not answered. Beginning on May 24, we posted our complaints to the Company 4 straight days on their web site and to the email listed on their web page. No response nor acknowledgment was received. The silence continues until the present.

    Just the worst yard service ever. Do not hire these guys! Their ************************** is non-existent.
