Avoid Creekside Cabinets and Design and its owner *******************. I chose Creekside solely on the recommendation of my designer (to whom, unknown to me, Creekside paid or planned to pay a referral fee of more than $1,300). The first thing to know about Creekside (which I only discovered long after contracting with them) is that they do not even make, deliver or install their own cabinets. And their free design services are a joke (they just did whatever my paid designer told them to do, and they still made obvious mistakes that I had to find and correct). All Creekside does is forward your order to a company called Columbia which does all of the work. Then Creekside pays (and charge you) for another company to deliver the cabinets to you. Its then up to you to figure out how to get the cabinets installed. Thats right, Creekside does essentially nothing. Yet, they grossly **** up the price of your cabinets (in my case, I discovered, by more than 45% above Creeksides costs), charge you a substantial delivery fee, pay undisclosed referral fees to your designer, and do not allow you to cancel your order once placed (with a nonrefundable 50% deposit), even though neither Creekside nor Columbia has yet lifted a finger or spent a ***** toward building the cabinets. In my case, I forfeited over $12,600 (almost all of which went to Creekside, not to Columbia) when I was forced to cancel an order more then 3 months before the cabinets were scheduled to be built or delivered. The reason for my cancellation was that neither Creekside nor I could find a qualified finish ********* or other contractor willing and able to install the cabinets timely or at a cost of less then $10,000. If you want to avoid this painful and expensive experience, dont do business with Creekside ************************************************ or its owner, *******************.
