Complaint: -On Oct 2012 I bought equipmt from ENERGETIC FITNESS SYSTEMS- a EFS-200 PRO + PRO Auxiliary Plate Attchmt - Due to dissatisfaction w/ results and issues with equip, the 90day guarantee was extnded, both verbally & in an email dated 2/26/14 by EFS owner/pres. 2013- EFS-200 Pro was replaced due to suspected mechanical issues. Later wiring and a transformer were mailed to me to replace potentially faulty components -April 2013, using the aux plate for the 1st time, I discvrd it was malfunctioning/extremely uncomfortable to use & immediately notified the company presidnt- discontinued using faulty unit -Jan.2014 Due to the EFS systems negative effects on my health, I asked to return both Pro200 & faulty aux. plate for a full refund. EFS president authorized the return but informed that "no funds were available to refund me" and that they would notify me when funds were available. I held onto both units, waiting for EFS to notify me when they had funds for the refund. -Feb 2015 I retrnd auxiliary plate for full refund after waiting 13 months for the requested refund for both units. EFS President authorized the return/refund and said they would fully refund the $ when the unit was received. Unit was delivered -After 10 months of waiting for my refund, I contacted the EFS president and mailed a certified lttr, complaining about their refusal to refund my money + notified them of my intent to contact the BBB if no payment was received- This letter was returned to me after US Postal service made several documented attempts to deliver it (receiving signature required). When I spoke with EFS, the same financial excuse and delay was given to me - In Oct 2015, tired of waiting, I requestd that the company at least repair and retrn the aux. plate -8 more months hve passed with no return made- 3 wks ago I was told "its repaired but no fnds avail to mail it back to me" due to lack of funds -$ limitation due to business issues was always their reason for putting me off
Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for both the EFS-200 Pro and Auxiliary Plate and an apology for their failure to honor their return guarantee in a timely fashion. The owners were kind and seemed sincere every time we communicated, and I trusted them. Though, due to my absolutely frustrating and confusing experience with them over the repair/return issues, them not following through with what they said they would do, and the plethora of financial excuses, I have lost all confidence that the company can or will back up their products or follow through with actions requiring financial expenditure on their part in the future. I feel my nature to be understanding, and patient has been totally taken advantage of.
