Complaint: CareOne Dental is over charging me.I responded to an add that they had on there web site offering dental crowns for $600. Before I made an appointment I asked them if there would be any other charges and was told no. After arriving to there office I again asked if the crown was going to be $600. total, explaining that was all that I had to spend, and was reassured that there would not be any other charges. I went in to see the dentist and they took an X-ray and told me that I had a cavity and the total price for the crown would be over $1,100. At that point I told them that I could not get it done and left.A week or two later I received a bill from them for over $80. for the exam and X-ray which they advertise on there web site for $30. I called the office and talked to there billing department explaining that I was told that there would not be a charge for the examination and they told me that they would remove the charge and I never heard from them again.Now several months later I get a letter from a collection agency saying that CareOne dental sent a bill to them for over $125. I have contested this bill and called CareOne to inquire about the charge. Now the person that I originally talked to no longer works there, and they said that there is no record of that call. At that point I asked why they never sent me another bill and they said that they sent me two bills and never heard from me, which is just not true. The bottom line is I was first told there would be no charge at all for the exam then I received a bill. I called the billing department and was told that I did not owe them anything and never received another bill from them. on top of all that they advertise, on there own web site, that a limited exam with X-ray costs $30. and a full exam with X-ray is $50. All I want to do is get this problem resolve and would appreciate any help you could give me.
Desired Settlement: At this point I would be willing to pay $30. for the exam and X-ray even though i was told that there would not be a charge.
To whom it may concern
As of today, the patient has not paid anything. The $30 emergency exam and x-ray discount rate was not effective until December 1, 2015 after the patient was in for evaluation. If he is willing to paid $43 ($30 for emergency exam & x-ray plus $13 go toward the collection agency fee), then I will have the receptionist to call of the collection and give him the December discount rate. He can call and paid $43 over the phone with a credit card.

Complaint: I RECIEVED DENTAL WORK FROM THEM AND PAID IN FULL AT TIME OF SERVICE. I HAVE A RE-EMBURISMENT PLAN WITH ***** AND THE DENTAL OFFICE REFUSED TO GIVE ME A RECIECT OR DOCUMANTATION FOR SERVICES STATING THEIR SYSTEM WAS DOWN. THEN THEY INSISTED ON SENDING THE PAPERWORK FOR ME AND STILL REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE RECIEPT FOR SERVICES. THE RENBURSMENT WAS SENT TO THEM AND THEY THEN CHARGED ME 15% OF TOTAL SERVIES REMOVED FROM THE CHECK AND THE SENT ME A CHECK AFTER NUMEROUS CALLS. THEN THEY SENT THE CHECK WITHOUT MY LEGAL NAME ON IT. ***** SAID THAT THE DOCTOR DOES NOT NEED TO FILE IT. BUT SINCE I WAS DENIED DOCUMENTATION I COULD'NT FIME THE CLAIM.I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE MY CHECK AND ADD FEES TO IT. THEY OWE ME A TOTAL OF $325.00 AND SENT ME AN UNCASHABLE CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $166.00
Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE TO BE REFUNDED MY FULL AMOUNT OF $325.00.

If the patient can not cash the $166 check due to incorrect patient name, all the patient has to do is bring the check back. I will be happy to issue a new check with the correct patient name.
