Refund and Exchange PolicyThe 20-Day return- Merchandise ordered from our website may be returned in its original condition within 20 days of the initial ship date. The initial ship date is the date your package left our warehouse and is stated in the shipping notification email. Providing the returned merchandise has not been installed or altered, and arrives at our warehouse complete and un-damaged, we will process a credit for the returned item. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
After 20 Days - In the event a merchandise return is received after 20 days from the ship date we reserve the right to apply a re-stocking fee of 20%. We accept returns for partial credit if they are received up to 45 days after the initial ship date.
Items received more than 45 days from the initial ship date will be returned and you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.

Complaint: Ordered door hinges. They arrived pre-packaged in pairs from original manufacturer in India. Antiques is saying hinges are sold individually but packaged in sets. They are breaking down a packaged product and doubling sales. It is deceptive. Nobody buys just one hinge ... that's why they are packaged in pairs. They tried to get us to double our order. No way. The website is misleading and they know it. We ordered six rim locks and six sets of hinges. We rec'd two rim locks and six hinges paired in three boxes. The balance of the order was back ordered. I have returned merchandise. I tried to s/w customer service twice.
Desired Settlement: Full refund.
Business Response: Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2013/12/19) */ House of Antique Hardware made efforts to understand the complainant's perspective and offered various options of resolution in the advance of customer service. We were left the final option of simply having issued a full refund for the merchandise purchased as a form of closure.
