Additional Complaint Information

On September 3, 2015 BBB contacted Snow's Auto for a response regarding a pattern of complaints concerning Snow's Auto's sales department.  Particularly, we specifically noticed claims from consumers stating that they were over promised by the sales person regarding parts being available, installation time, parts suitable for their vehicle, pricing as quoted, color will match, etc. and poor customer service regarding fixing installation/mechanical problems, communicating with the customers, returning phone calls and providing accurate and truthful information.

On September 18, 2015, Snow's Auto replied with the following statement.  One of my main goals in owning a local business is to have the highest standards of being good, honest and fair to the community.  I do realize my employees have made mistakes but I know that on a case by case basis we have met or exceeded typical business standards for how those mistakeshave been handled.  Some complaints are a result of new hires trying toearn a position; others are mistakes made by existing employees beingimperfect humans; and I am sure you understand some complaints arefrivolous and the customer has simply refused to be satisfied despite ourefforts.  Nevertheless, we discuss all complaints and I assure you we allcare.  We all strive for perfection though no one is perfect.  Despite ourshortcomings, I can assure that we have and will acknowledge legitimatecomplaints/mistakes, give great effort to correct them and do more thanhandle them fairly.  Our track record reflects this.  With my employees I tolerate mistakes however, I do monitor them.  If anemployee makes too many mistakes without signs of improvement, I have andwill terminate their employment.   As much as possible I create policiesand procedures, discuss them with staff and provide coaching/training.This is all in effort not to just prevent complaints but to give customers the best possible experience.  We will continue to strive for perfection.

 BBB is satisfied with the company's commitment to further train their employees and address customer concerns.
