This fraudulent business claims to engage, protect and love their residents. They failed on all three accounts. I trusted them with the care of my mother under the pretense they would keep these promises that are clearly stated on their website at their ***************** location in ********, ********. My mother was not engaged. I was told they had a full activity program to give residents something to do, and all they had was a tv with ******* videos. The residents walk around aimlessly, bored, and without purpose all day, every day. I was told they have group activities for higher functioning residents. This never happened either. They promised to protect my mother. During her six week stay, she required an Emergency room visit, three ****** care visits, a ************ visit, Orthopedic Specialist visit, and a Podiatrist visit. And after all of that, they sent her away to another hospital to have her medication adjusted due to their mismanagement of her prescriptions and failure to produce the correct dosage. My mother said she was attacked by another resident. They did nothing to help her and dismissed the complaint entirely. I was never informed of any problems with her physically, yet she is currently in a hospital as a non-****** bearing patient being moved by ***** lift as she is totally unable to walk. They promised love. My mother was not loved- she lived there in fear of a resident who she continually had negative altercations with and their staff did nothing to keep her safe. She slept in urine soaked linens that would pile up for days creating an insanitary environment (picture below) They lie. They do not live up to the things they say on their website. Its false advertising and its disgusting and I do not want the residents who still live there to have to live under such unethical conditions. People pay a lot of money to Anthem and they should receive the services they were promised in return. They are not at *****************.
