Company towed my truck and charged me 40 dollars over the actual receipt amount. Also picked truck up without call from owner of location.
On Sunday the 21 my truck was towed at 1:30 am when parked in a parking spot. I did not notice that there were signs stating that no parking or would be towed by the owner. When I left bar at 2:30 am my truck was gone. I called the company and spoke to a lady who responded that my truck had been towed and It would cost me $140 to get my truck. I went to the location and asked the driver who was there for me to pay if he had a call number from the owner of the business requesting to have me towed. The driver responded that he did not have one and that it was not required for the owner to call the company. I did not feel like arguing with the guy and causing a conflict so then I asked what it would cost to get my truck he then stated again that it would be $140. This is a large amount for 1 hour of towing. I payed the guy cash because it was the only method that they would except. After receiving the receipt I then realized that he wrote the receipt out that they towed my truck at 11:30PM which was not possible considering that I did not make it to the bar until 1pm which I have proof of on my phone. Secondly they over charged me $40 because the receipt stated that my total was $100 not the $140 that the driver made me give. By the time I noticed the issues I was already off the lot and unable to get in contact with them.

Desired Settlement
I believe it is wrong for the truck to have lied about my time that I parked and he towed my truck so that he could sit in front of the parking lot and wait so that he could tow our vehicle. I also think it is tax fraud to miss type the receipts and I will be reporting it to the tax offices of Pensacola if my matter is not resolved. As from what was stated to me by several people they are not allowed to tow my truck without a call from the owners of the property where my truck was. I at least deserve to get my 40 dollars that I was over charged if not the full amount due to lying on my bill on the time stamps to bill me for a full day.

i spoke with the driver and pulled his tow ticket it says $100.00 the customer signed the tow ticket stating $100.00 customer had to see the ticket said $100.00 it is wright next to his signature.

It was too dark to read anything outside I was not able to see the pricing clearly. I asked 3 times what the cost was and the lady on the phone and driver told me $140. So I paid $140 I still think it is wrong that the driver and the company took an additional $40 dollars from me. This is not how a company should run their business!!!

MR. ******* It amazes me how the tuth really comes out i have the email you sent the owner of the property. where your truck was towed from we also have the video surveillance from the cameras that show what time you parked and you getting out of the would you like to try again becouse the next step will be prosecution for slander of are business and a lawsuit. we also have his email responding back to your email. i don't know of anyone signing any paper work with out reading it first and not even a inch away from your signature is the price of $100.00. also i dont know wear you where in the dark. the office and outside are lighted like day time. and so is next door witch is the florida highway patrol. also you cant tell me you did not see the signs that say no parking you will be towed.

Charged a substantial amount more than quoted
My daughter was involved in an accident and I asked to speak to the tow truck driver prior to authorizing services. He told me there would be a flat fee of 150.00 due payable when the car was dropped off at my home. When the car arrived I was charged 207.50 and told I would either pay that amount regardless of what I was quoted or they would take my car to impound.

Desired Settlement
I want the difference between what I was told and what I was forced to pay refunded.

Dear ****** I'm sorry you where told a price by a was a estamite. they dont know how long they would be out there cleaning up a 3-4 car wreck on the bay bridge the drivers do not make the price up the price is set by each police department or the county commissioners. the base hook for the gulf breeze police department is $ 100.00 the first 30 minutes is included and then it is $60.00 per houre. and $4.00 per mile after 10 miles and the driver was out there on the wreck for 2.5- 3 hrs so if he charged you $207.50 you got a break becouse he should have charged you $220.00 for 2hrs and if he was there for 3 hrs $280.00 + the miles he towed you'r car i hope you understand and we are sorry.if are drivers told you that. hope everyone is ok from the wreck.**** ****** my office # (XXX)XXX-XXXX m-f 8-5
