BBB Northern Indiana and the Indiana State Police will behosting its second Shred Day onSaturday, October 5th, from 9:00 a.m. until Noon.
Iron Mountain RecordsManagement hasgraciously offered the services of their shredding truck, and Afdent Dental Services has graciouslyoffered the services of their parking lot to hold this event. Afdent’s parking lot is located at 4041Parnell Avenue, across from the Memorial Coliseum.
A previous event held in June netted 11,500 pounds ofshredded material. Clean out thoseattics full of unneeded documents and bring them out for safe shredding! “Many of those who brought their personaldocuments to be shred were appreciative that this service was being offered,”said Greg Smitley, President/CEO of Better Business Bureau NorthernIndiana. “We are pleased that theIndiana State Police are on hand to co-sponsor and assist with thiscommunity-wide endeavor. The turnout inJune was phenomenal. We expect the samein October. Our sincere thanks also toIron Mountain and Afdent for helping us with this project. They are great supporters as well!”

One final note: Iron Mountain wants those bringing theirdocuments to be aware that their truckis unable to accept plastic and metal items, but paperclips and binders are ok.
