Complaint Category: Delayed completion of repair

Complaint: Per the manufacturer's instructions, I took a pressure washer to Tri State for repair. 4 months later have not received it.

Per the Per the manufacturer's instructions, I took a pressure washer to Tri State, an authorized repair center for a warranty repair. Having heard nothing from them, I stopped in to Tri State on Jan 11, 2012 to check on it. The repair tech said he had submitted a claim to the manufacturer and the manufacturer was supposed to replace the unit. He seemed surprised that I hadn't received it. He said he would resubmit a claim. I have heard nothing from Tri State or the manufacturer.

We are the people in middle! We have done all we can to try to help get this replacement for the customer! We contacted factory the other day and was told they had released the replacement. We were also told by today we would have the tracking numbers for the customer's replacement. We don't. SO we are stuck in the middle again! Our hands are tied. There is nothing else we are able to do! We will continue to call to try to make sure customer gets his replacement!

This response is completely unacceptable. Their offer is equivalent to no offer at all.

These are the facts:
1) I took a machine to Southside for repair.
2) Almost 5 months later I have neither my original broken machine, nor a replacement unit which they told me I would receive.

I've been patient! It's been 5 months!!!

I gave my machine to Southside with the expectation of having it repaired/replaced in a reasonable amount of time. It's not like they're waiting for a back ordered part.

Southside's problems with the mfg. don't concern me. My business is with Southside and it is they who need to make this right. That's the ONLY thing that matters.
