Programs

Incorporated in 1967, Opportunity Enterprises currently provides early intervention, transportation, residential, occupational, and educational support services to more than 1,100 children and adults with developmental, emotional, and/or physical disabilities throughout Northwest Indiana. We serve people with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, severe physical and mental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia, loss of limbs, and other challenges.

Opportunity Enterprises provides children from birth to three with individualized therapy sessions and play groups. We operate seven group homes for adults, manage the care of dozens of men and women living in area apartments, and operate two respite houses for caregiver relief. We provide vocational opportunities through facility-based employment, social enterprises, and community employment placement and training. We also provide curricular day programming, as well as individualized computer, art, volunteerism, and relaxation sessions for adults. We also provide transportation services.

Opportunity Enterprises provides high quality support services for every aspect of our participants' lives, ensuring that they have every resource available in order to reach their fullest potential.
