Programs

Girl Scouts seeks to accomplish its mission by providing girls opportunities to develop their potential and have fun with their peers in a supportive, all-girl setting. Through Girl Scouts, girls work in partnership with adults to plan and participate in a wide range of activities designed to meet girls' needs and interest. Through both traditional troop activities and innovative programs, girls will grow in their abilities to relate to others with understanding and respect. They will explore, take healthy risks, and assume leadership positions. They will develop a commitment to serve others and improve their community. Through Girl Scouts, a girl finds: Courage-by exploring new adventures, Confidence-by discovering her abilities, Character-by shaping her values, Connections-by experiencing relationships with girls and adults, and a girl returns those gifts by making the world a better place.
