Charities that meet the Standards for Charity Accountability are eligible to participate in BBB Wise Giving Alliance Charity Seal program. The seal, which can be displayed on the charity's web site and in printed materials, helps inform the public that the charity meets these standards. This organization participates in this program.

Programs

The educational goals of the National Historic Landmark include interpretation to a worldwide public, world-renowned automobiles with an emphasis on Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg motorcars of the classic era along with the lasting impact and influence of the people and achievements of the Auburn Automobile Company and Duesenberg, Inc. in the historical context of the former national headquarters of this independent luxury car manufacturer. Also included is the interpretation of the careers of transportation industrialist E.L. Cord and his colleagues, who produced innovative luxury cars of the classic era, still revered to this day.

The interpretive galleries, public lecture series, docent training workshops, remote speaking engagements, public school presentations and study trip offerings (meeting Indiana Academic Standards), video productions, website, virtual tour and book publications all reinforce the museum's efforts to convey the story of the Auburn Automobile Company, its leader and employees, and their place in the automotive industry of America. The automaker's position as a maverick in the industry would not be known to current generations without the efforts of the museum, charged with its mission.

The goals of the exhibition program include engaging the audience by presenting automotive history in such a way as to make it relevant to today. Each gallery presents a segment of the story with a theme that remains constant. Automobiles can be rotated in and out of the galleries that illustrate the theme, but this rotation does not change the basic story line.
