On July 01, 2012, Allen County Council on Aging (ACCOA) became a division of Aging & In-Home Services of Northeast Indiana (AIHS) to better serve Allen County's rapidly growing population of older adults and their caregivers plus individuals living with disabilities through combining the efforts and resources of both organizations.
The mission of Aging & In Home Services of Northeast Indiana is to promote dignity, independence, and advocacy for all older adults and persons with disabilities.

Aging & In Home Services of Northeast Indiana (AIHS) has been serving the 9 counties of northeast Indiana for over 35 years. Designated as the single point of entry for Long Term Care by the state of Indiana, AIHS is available and ready to assist seniors, disabled and their families with the growing number of options when considering long-term care.
