Complaint
It is not clear why my house is not qualified for guaranteed purchase program as advertised. Does the program really exist?
I wonder if the guaranteed purchase program really exists. I wanted to put my house on the market, interviewed Howard Real Estate and was told it does not qualify for guaranteed purchase. A friend had the exact same experience. My well-kept house in a good neighborhood is 5 blocks from Howard Real Estate office. What does it take to qualify? Does this program really exist or is it only to take advantage of potential customers? Even if it exists, is the purchase price offered so low (I heard 80%) as to take advantage of sellers?

Desired Settlement
Show program exists and criteria for inclusion or revise advertising.

Business Response
In response to the complaint made by a prospective client regarding the guaranteed sales program, it was disclosed to him the terms of the program and at the time of disclosure he did not show interest in participating in the program. It is was discussed that his home did not fall into the criteria of the terms of the program, but I would be happy to speak with ****** and ****** ****** regarding the client's home if he indeed wanted to go the route of the guaranteed sales program. It was not until a follow up call on Friday, September 12th that he expressed that he felt the program did not actually exist and at that time I offered to get the information to provide to him that the program did indeed exist. The prospective client said that would not be necessary.

Consumer Response
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I never saw the "terms" of the program on any of the charts that were presented. My opinion is that this is like the free cruise if you listen to a sales pitch on investments. The cruise doesn't really exist or at least doesn't exist for you - it's a way for a company to capture your attention in order to get a sales pitch in front of you.
