            We purchased an electric fireplace from them on Dec. 18, 2023. It came and we put it together but it will not work. The heater comes on for a few seconds and then turns off. We have called them repeatedly and they won't return our calls and tell us they'll call us back but don't. We got approval to ship it back but they won't send us a prepaid paper to put on the boxes and it would cost us many hundreds of dollars to ship it back. Your help would be appreciated. The manufacturer said they know what's wrong with it but they can't get the part. It looks like they knew it was flawed when they sent it.

            Emailed electricfireplacedirect.com about a price match where they state on their website they will match 110%. Sent in all details including a screenshot with the same model on another site with nearly a $200 price difference. Was told they would match via email, then called in and placed order. They called back and said 'marketing' couldn't honor the price and instead offered a 15% discount which was still $100 more than the competing price. I ordered from the other site. Shame that they will not stand behind published policies on their site.

            Unfortunately, the competitor advertising this particulr item was in violation of the Internet Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy (IMAP) . As stated in our published Price Match Policy -
            If we determine that a competitor's price is not in accordance to that manufacturer's Internet Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy we will not match the price. Unfortunately, in these circumstances we cannot match the price because we would be infringing upon price integrity agreements with our manufacturers.
            We offered our best price allowed within the manufacturers pricing guidelines. The competitor was reported to the manufacturer.
