Several months ago, I experienced a very unprofessional, deceitful, and untrustworthy, encounter with Smith Infiniti of Huntsville. I purchased my 2017 QX80 brand new and never thought I would have such an abhorrent experience. I took my QX80 in for a repair back in October for an oil leak and assumed their service department could manage the repair without any issues. Unfortunately, this was not the case. They did a botch job on my vehicle, and I was told by their service manager when I took it back in for the 2nd time the oil that was leaking was residual. This was far from the truth! I continued trying to resolve my issue with Smith Infiniti and was told continuously the oil that was still leaking was residual. I decided ENOUGH was ENOUGH! I reached out to Nissan Consumer Affairs Corporate Office and filed a complaint against the dealership for the inept service repair along with my concern regarding ruthless unprofessional-ism from the top. Nissan Consumer Affairs investigated my claim and found Smith Infiniti did not repair my vehicle in an appropriate manner. Nissan Consumer Affairs was a superb resource they allowed me to take my vehicle to Infiniti of Cool Springs in Nashville after I expressed my disgust and lack of trust with Smith Infiniti. Infiniti of Cool Springs explained to me exactly what the problem was with my vehicle and was appalled with how things were handled with Smith Infiniti in Huntsville. They were very professional, courteous, and sympathetic to my experience. They gave me a loaner vehicle to drive back to Huntsville while my vehicle was being repaired. More than anything they repaired my vehicle professionally and I haven't had any other issues. This is what service, and professionalism should look like. I will never purchase another vehicle from Smith Infiniti of Huntsville! They don't deserve a one-star rating they definitely deserve a zero. This site will not allow you to give a zero rating!
