Complaint: Was told it would be complete clean up and complete removal and stump grind and all areas . Contract reads complete clean up 3 tress, shurbs,and piviots tree. service was 1/31/2013 . At start of job called to verify with contact that we understood job at hand. got home to find unsatisfatory job and not as was told would happen . stopped payment on check called them was cussed at and told a lein would be placed if I did not pay up.

Desired Settlement: They need to do the job I was told would be done complete removal and clean up or discount due to the fact I will now have to hire someone to do what they said they would do.

WE REMOVED SEVERAL TREES IN HIS FRONT YARD AND CLEANED UP ALL THE DEBRIS.WE ALSO GROUND ALL THE STUMPS. WE COULD NOT CHASE SURFACE ROOTS BECAUSE THE WIFE TOLD THE CREW NOT TO DIG HER BUSHES UP THAT WERE GROWING OVER THE TOP OF THE SURFACE ROOTS.THE STUMP GRINDINGS THAT WERE LEFT WERE NOT HAULED AWAY BECAUSE WE CANNOT LEAVE A BIG HOLE IN THE GROUND.WHEN ****** CAME HOME AND SEEN THE JOB HE WAS UPSET BECAUSE WE DID NOT CHASE THE SURFACE ROOTS, SO HE REMOVED A BUNCH OF BUSHES AND PULLED BACK BLACK PLASTIC AND EXPOSED THE SURFACE ROOTS THAT WE COULD NOT GET TO BECAUSE OF THE BUSHES THAT WERE IN THE WAY.SO WE SENT THE CREW BACK THE NEXT DAY TO GRIND ALL THE ROOTS AND HAUL THE STUMP GRINDINGS.****** TEXTED ME AFTERWARDS SAYING THAT HE WAS VERY HAPPY THAT IT WAS COMPLETED TO HIS SATISFACTION. ( LACK OF COMMUNICATION ON ***** PART AND ****** TREE SERVICE).

Consumer's Final Response
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I ( the wife) never told the crew not to bother the plants. They did not know what they were to contract to pull out and I showed them and told them not to worry about any plants that is was all coming out and that we were putting a patio in. They did not remove any of the gringding and when we reomoved them it exposed the lack of there work. We have pictures to prove what they did wrong and the landscaper that come in after them has ro remove lots of roots at the service and was not happy what the company did. I feel the company needs to refund us $200 for all the extra time and money we had to but out. We paid them in full for a bad job and were treated very bad by them. This is not a good company and I would advise people not to use them.

Had customer service not been my #1 priority I wouldn't have come out a second time to ensure the customer was happy. After I left the customer they had expressed how happy they were with my job, I have text messages to prove it. Had they not been happy, I would have considered a refund. I wish to no longer have communication with this customer as they are untruthful. Have a great day.

BBB's Final Determination: After reviewing the position of all parties, BBB determined that the business made a reasonable effort to address the complaint. However the consumer remains dissatisfied.
