Complaint: Took advantage of a woman without knowledge of what was being weighed as clean brass and dirty brass. Inconsistent weights an measures. When separating brass, didn't explain to customer what was being separated an why. Did explain the cost pay out for each type of metal and why. Seems to me they take advantage of people without knowledge of what metals pay out. Not very good representation of honesty

Desired Settlement: I want my metal return, they said they have it on camera. So they can dig it out and return it to me. Or pay me clean brass rate on the 29 lbs of dirty brass that wasn't.

Pictures were taken and recorded of the metal against the customers ticket, magnetized and paid according to type. The individual that submitted the complaint was not present for the transaction, nor was the transaction generated in his name; rather, the consumer's girlfriend. The consumer listed in the compaint has visited our location on other locations. However, ****** Inc. values every customer and strives for excellent customer service and customer retention. ****** Inc. management contacted the consumer listed on the complaint 11/16/12 via telephone to review the complaint personally. The consumer indicated that he would appreciate a greater education by our employees to ensure maximum payment against the metal. As a one-time courtesy and to maintain excellent customer relationships, management agreed to pay the consumer $27.26 (the difference between clean brass and dirty brass on the ticket). The check was issued and mailed to the cusumers girlfriend 11/16/12. The consumer listed in the complaint agreed and indicated that he is happy with the resolution.
