Roof ***************** 1.- Vent cut out holes not cut large enough for air flow (see inside garage) 2.- 4 of the ****** roof vents were installed incorrectly: No sealant used on nail heads on perimeter of the 1st 4 vents installed 3.- Ice and water shield was placed on top of wet patch roof leak repair on last 8 vents installed 4.- Incorrect sealant was used to seal all vents (wet patch roof leak repair ***** 208R) Tech support ************ - should have used ***** 900 5.- Nails were placed through ****** vent flashing on top of the shingle (not able to seal/caulk all of the nail heads)6.- Shingle over method was cut incorrectly on top of ****** vents, ***** corners were cut off of the top of the vent 7.- O.C. Roofing requires the use of nails as the method of attaching shingles to wood decking (No Staples) Info on shingle package Staples were used 2ft up from the eves to attached the shingles 8.- Joining of the metal valleys at the ridge was done incorrectly, smashed and hammered down aggressively, caused damaged to interior drywall, popping nails on ceiling areas, ****** had to stop working several times from very loud banging. 9.- Interior damage to celling drywall and texture, nails are now popping through the ceiling in multiple areas 10.- Metal valleys need min 1 to 1 overhang at the eves 11.- Metal valleys not cut at eve corners (see photo)12.- No sealant used in the joining of the long run metal valleys that lay on top of each other.13.- Roof decking has protrusions; nails, staples that were not removed 14.- *********** shield in valleys installed on top of dust, **************** granules. (Not sticking)15.- No Ice and water shield installed at the chimney cricket flashing???16.- Shingle overhang seems to be excessive, should be - to *** 17.- Roof shingles in some areas are humped up and wavey???18.- Staples used to install the UDL30 underlayment, voiding warranty.19.- Nail heads not flush at ridge caps, lifting ridge caps in areas
