      I am currently a ******* of ************* LP ******************************************************************* My Apartment: ************************************************************************* On February 2, 2024 FPI Management through a 3rd Party DOMUSO (Mobile Phone Application) deducted from my Credit Card the amount of $7588.88 instead of $1500.00 which is the correct monthly rent payment. I contacted the leasing office on Feb. 4, 2024 in regards to the error and after several communications with the leasing office to secure a refund they proceeded to tell me they were looking into it and would get back to me, after 3 weeks while I called again and given the same statement. After a month of not hearing anything from the leasing office, I was able to determine who actually managed the property ("FPI Management") . I sent an email from their website and I received a response after about 4 days. After discussing my issues with the Portfolio Manager via email for 2 weeks they refused to give me a refund only that they would credit my account. Since this debited from my CC and such a large amount I could not afford to pay the balance and would incur finance charges on the amount, told them I wanted a refund not a credit. After threat of going to a lawyer they said they would issue me a check to include a refund for the full amount plus the processing fees minus 1 months rent. On March 15, ******************************************************** the amount of $6040.13, I waited a few days and asked for an update and was told that the check was put into the mail on March 20, 2024. As today April 1, 2024 I have not received the check nor are they responding to any of my emails asking for an updates.

      fpi management interviewed me over the phone. manager hired me on the call and knowing i was currently employed she even matched my current hourly pay knowing i can lease apartments fast. manager forgot to mention driver license is required. she sent me the hire offer letter and i quit my current job. i passed the drug screening and background check. days later she sent me a email saying my offer was not valid anymore because i needed a driver license. what should i do? help now im unemployed with no income.
