April 2021 I went to look at boats . I picked a boat that had been sitting for years. We agree on ***** ************************************************** slightly used out drive and fix window . I was told to bring **** to start work . I brought **** in less then a week and I clarified I needed the boat done by July 4 2021 . I was told no problem it would be done . A month in a get a call to switch motors to little block with no miles for **** and they would restore old motor out the boat and keep it . I agreed new motor and slightly used outdrive for ***** . July comes and goes Im told they ordered parts for motor and its taking longer for motor conversion so Im getting inpatient but they keep acting like one more week Im finally like let me start inside the boat while I wait for motor to be completed. I hired a employee from deckhands to remove counter tops ,carpet and interior and install it back for ****. I paid 750 upfront and the rest when work is done . I come back to the boat and the employee gutted the boat ripped wall panels cut wires total disaster. I called owner and told him his employee destroyed the inside of the boat he said he doesnt work for him but he lives in the property and does work also I witnessed him working on boats at deckhands. So its like august still no motor I tell him I need the motor done so I can take boat to interior shop owner was against it said he didnt want the motor going somewhere that it could be tampered with so I took the boat with no motor or outdrive interior could not put the boat back together because wood pieces screws cut wires simply no one everything goes so now I have a ruined inside with no accountability and now Im being charged more for motor I agree to **** now Im being charged for stirring cable that has been locked up for years that I did not agree this company squeezes you for money and I want a refund on boat
