Complaint: Customer states that they hired the company to clean the evap coil. They did not seal the furnace and because of that a lot of air is leaking from it. Customer has attempted to contact the company a couple of times and not able to get a call back. Wires were sticking out which was unsafe and a hazard for customer's child.

Desired Settlement: Customer states that they want a refund of the $219 that was paid to the company for the job.

Business Response: Business' Initial Response
10:40-My calls always go directly to my cell phone, which is always on me. If I am unavailable it goes to voice mail, and I am always happy to return calls. This seems like a simple situation, that I would have been happy to revisit had I actually received a call. I live in the area, so it would have been a quick easy trip. I do not understand the reference to wires, as the job did not include any wires or going near any part that had wires. There is an evaporator coil has no electric parts- it's all metal. Nothing electronic was involved? I am happy to revisit the consumer's home and fix the seal and see what she is referencing in regards to wires.

Consumer's Final Response
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) On friday July 27,2012 I had agreement that the ac tech from air force one would visit my house and see the work had been completed by another ac tech. I had shown him the receipt I had paid for from the other company to finished his work and ordering a new part from my ac.The Ac tech from air force one did not feel it was fair to give me a refund of 219.00 do to the fact he would still have a bad point against him and his company even if I was satisfied. So he had another solution on how I can be happy instead giving me my money back. He said he can give me big discount of some grill filters since i needed them for the future. I thought about it but do to the fact this guy has sloppy work and tried to rip me off with all these expensive costs I just dont want to deal with this company. Also I am tired of spending too much money I had already spent 305.00 with air force one and the other company 370.00. I just wanted 2 have some of my money back because in the first place I ened hiring 2 guys for the same work. The only difference is the other company I hired spent more time with me showing me everything that was wrong with my ac and the dangers that could of happened if they never came by to fixs this problem. Its just not fair I ened up spending more money in the long run and also time consuming for staying at home. I had many things to do on those days but I had to cancel my day to be at home. I have a baby on the way and I can't afford to keep spending all these crazy costs for ac and the stress it can cause me and my baby.

BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved

Complaint: This co. advertises that they guarantee/warranty their work. This co. was quick to charge my cc to begin repairs but failed to substantiate in writing This company wanted my cc # to begin a/c repairs on my property at 9354 Laguna Pointe way, Elk Grove. The Sales Rep's name is ******. One repair turned into several and I asked to receive an itemized invoice to substantiate their repairs and what they were going to charge my cc. When I asked I was told they had to go through the office and they would mail the invoice rather than leave that day of the repairs. I never received it and for two months have been calling, emailing,etc..The couple times ****** answered the phone, he just put me off and still has never faxed/mailed. Now that he has my money he never returns my calls,emails,texts. Any company that can't substantiate their charges is obviously hiding something! I'm appalled that this is how they treat customers and advertise they "guarantee exceptional service and guarantee their work." It's expected that a company acts in good faith and this company clearly doesn't! My mastercard was charged $675.00 on June 4th.

Desired Settlement: Fax ASAP to 408.265.0640. This issue isn't closed until ****** verifies with me that I have in fact received it and agree with it.

Company states that they have attempted to fax over the consumer's invoice on several occasions without success. He will attempt to fax it over again tomorrow, 9/5 at the number provided in the complaint.
