Complaint: Project: Bathroom Remodel Install RANE Walk-in-Tub Work done: May 17, 2011 - June 7, 2011 Total Cost : $12,200.39 Paid as follows; 5/17/11 Down Payment $1,000 (Chase Check # 1022) 5/31/11 $8,000 (Bank of America Check #5756) 6/7/11 $3,200.39 (Bank of America Check #5759) about a week ago I discovered that my walk-in-tub was not retaining water because of a leakage from the door of the tub. I called and left a message for ***** Pace to contact me as soon as possible. I was especially concerned since I am seventy-seven years old and have recently had surgery for a complete left knee replacement. I have had two previous back surgeries, a rotator cuff surgery of my left shoulder and a right knee replacement. I am disabled and have great difficulty going upstairs to use another bathroom. No luck, *****, have not to date called me to set up any appointment. Yesterday0, I left ***** a second message and still have not heard from him. I desperately need help so I can bathe. Let me know should you need any further information.

Desired Settlement: I would like the leaks repaired. I do not want any water damage.

Consumer Response: THIS IS TO CONFIRM THAT THE COMPLAINT HAS BEEN RESOLVED. ***** CALLED ME ON JULY 29 AND LEFT A MESSAGE ON MY PHONE THAT HE JUST RETURNED FROM VISITING RELATIVES IN MICHIGAN.

WHEN I RETURNED HOME, I PHONED ***** AND HE CAME OVER ON JULY 30 AND REMODELED THE PROBLEM ON MY WALK-IN-TUB.

I wish to thank your bureau for your prompt response.

Complaint: Unit malfunctions unable to get the merchant to respond to my calls and emails Problem Date 10-21-2012 Purchase Date 06/28/2010 Contract #XXXXX Payment Amount $12450.00 Check Unit malfunctions and merchant fails to respond to phone calls or emails Electrical not done to code

Desired Settlement: Need the unit to be repaired and the electrical work redone to code

I Just spoke with Mr ****** and There was no issue with electrical not being to code. Also the complaint started with Mr ****** having an issue with receiving a warranty part from the Manufacturer. ****** did nothing wrong and the issue was with the manufacturer. He has recieved the part and has had it changed and says all is well. we had a good conversation and he apologized for filing the complaint.
