Complaint: I had "A Better Computer Doctor ' do some work on my home computer.The worker "******" worked on it about an hour. I needed to order a part from another company but had no problem at that time with the work. Only thing about it was why doesn't a person coming down town bring quarters. He did not. I did give him some but told him that was all I had to give him. The next day office called and I said just waiting for part and she said to let him check it out and no cost since work is guaranteed 30 days. Okay, well in comes the smiling face and hand out for quarters. Told him did not have any and he went to get them. Came back angry and stayed that way. Would not tell me what he was doing. Worked almost 2 hours and when he stood up with pad in hand .and almost smiled asked will this be on credit card or? I told him I was told no charge. After he left The sound has been disconnected. Have a lot of problems getting into some programs and not happy at all. Oh yes 30 day guarantee. He came the first part of Nov and receipt is date for Oct. Thus losing a few days of guarantee. Also found it odd that the office did not call back after his second call???????? Being on fixed income do not have the $100. To repair damage they did. Not do I want them back again. It hurts. Oh yes. After giving him the quarters did not have enough to finish drying my clothes Not a big deal to him.

Desired Settlement: I want my 100.00 refunded. I don't trust them.

Contact Name and Title: **** ******** - Owner Contact Phone: 916-***-**** Contact Email: I spoke to **** ******* personally this afternoon and I expressed my deepest apologies for the level of service she has received. I told her that I would personally refund the $100 she paid for the service, as well as the quarters, and I would personally come back myself, if she would allow me to, so I can get her computer working the way it should have been the first time. She graciously said she would allow me to come back and make it right. I set up the follow up appointment for Wednesday 12-19-12 in the afternoon, at that time I will perform the repairs and give her the refund/quarters. We stand by all of our work 100% and I will honor that guarantee for her and make an exception to our 30 day policy in order to make this right. We strive hard to get and keep good customers for life. I am thankful to **** ******* for allowing us to come back into her home and earn her back as a loyal customer.

BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
