Complaint: Installed a product that was faulty or was installed incorrectly. Hasn't fixed it, no shows for scheduled appointments and doesn't return my calls. Scott's Mobile Glass (Scott) installed a window in my car on August 1, 2012. When I drove my car after installation it was letting air in through the closed window making a very loud "air noise." I called and told them (Trina) about the issue and scheduled an appointment for someone to come out and fix the window on August 10. An hour before my appointment time on August 10 Trina called and canceled my appointment. I rescheduled my appointment for the following week on August 17- nobody showed up and nobody called. I called and left a message and nobody called me back, it wasn't until calling and leaving another message that someone returned my call- 3 days after they no showed for my appointment. I rescheduled for the following week on August 24. Scott came out and did something to it to try to fix it- some sort of sealing. When I drove it again it was doing the same thing- letting air in through the closed window. I called and made another appointment for them to come out on August 31. Nobody showed up for my appointment again. I called to ask about it and Trina put me on hold and never came back on the phone. I called again and nobody answered my call or returned my message. Trina was clearly still in the office since I had just spoken with her. They have been unable/unwilling to fix a product that they guarantee.

Desired Settlement: It is too difficult to deal with a company that has terrible customer service, cancels appointments, and worse no shows for appointments. I cannot trust their work and they have been unable to address the problem. I would like a refund so I can have a different auto glass company fix the window correctly.

Business Response: Business' Initial Response
I would like to start by saying every call that was received by ****** was returned promptly. Our first appointment with ****** was scheduled for August 10th, 2012 unfortunately we had two tech's that had to go home sick in the middle of the afternoon, so Dezerae called ****** and explained to her what was going on and asked if she could help us by rescheduling her appointment, and as per ****** she was only available on Friday afternoons so we set the appointment for the following Friday August 17th, 2012. She was on the schedule for Friday (8/17/2012) and it wasn't until I returned her call Monday morning after getting back into the office from the weekend I learned that ****** made a mistake and missed her on his schedule, so I called ****** right away and let her know I was going to figure out what happened and make it right and that we were very sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused her. So we set the next appointment for Friday August 24, 2012, and on this day ****** tried to seal the window for ****** and let her know to let it dry and if it doesn't work give us a call and we would be more then happy to get another brand and switch the glass out. ****** called the following week Wednesday August 29, 2012 and was being very nasty over the phone, yelling and saying fowl things to me so I explained to her what needed to be done again, switching out the glass for a different brand and she just continued to yell and say that we didn't know what we were doing and that we couldn't handle fixing this window because the noise was still there, so again I told her that we would like to come out and get it taken care of but she just kept being very nasty over the phone, so I called ****** and explained to him what she was saying and how nasty she was being so he told me to let her know we were not going to help someone that was being so rude and nasty and that if she wanted to be civil we would be more then happy to get this matter resolved. That was the last we heard from her. She never returned my call from that point.

Consumer's Final Response
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The business is lying in the above statement and doesn't even have their facts correct. If they checked the original invoice, they would see that the window was originally installed on August 1st. Everything I said in my original statement stands- dates and appointments wise. When I called on August 24 I did not yell and I was not nasty. I was frustrated and annoyed- I did say they were incompetent and that I was going to call the business that referred me and tell them they should no longer refer customers to ******'s Mobile Glass. However, I never cussed or raised my voice, mostly just laughed at the ridiculous situation. During that conversation they did in fact schedule me for the following Friday 8/31 1-5pm. Nobody called me to cancel. I called on Friday 8/31 at 4:58pm and was put on hold- nobody came back on the phone. I called back and left a message asking for ****** to return my call which never happened. I have phone records showing my calls- dates and times as well as return calls from the business- which support my statement and refute what the business said above. I also have a witness to the conversation on 8/24- when I was supposedly nasty and yelling, also when they scheduled for the following week. Both of which would stand up in small claims court. I think that the girl who answers the phone is trying to cover herself in this situation and the way she mishandled it. I would still like a refund.

Business' Final Response
Today 10/3/2012 we went to *******'s house and replaced with glass and rubber seal around the vent with OEM factory parts. ******* told ****** that she was satisfied.
