I took my car in to the shop on August 2, 2022 due to a huge leak under my car. I left my car there and got a call a few days later stating the issue was my transmission. A bolt had been left off on the bottom which resulted in the leak of the transmission fluid. When I purchased the car I had bought the warrenty plan so i provided Midas with the information they needed to see if my car would be covered through the warrenty. A inspector need to come out and look at the vechicle. The inspection was done and I was told that it wasn't going to be covered under my warrenty plan. On September 8, 2022 I gave the company Midas the ok to go ahead and purchase the transmission and perform the labor which I would be paying cash for. They gave me a total amount of $3559.00 and said it would be a few weeks to get the part and have the car ready. I gave them til the end of the month then decided to give them a call to check on the status they told me that they had been short handed and the mechanicwas dealing with personal issue but should be back soon. About a week went by no word from the shop so I call again they tell me they are working on it and it should be done tomorrow or the next day. Tomorrow comes and still no call from the shop so I decied to wait and call them the next day and they tell me they need a few more days. Its the weekend so i know it won't be done i get a call about Tuesday fron the Owner *** who states that he is very sorry and the shop was dealing with a personal matter a death of one of the Mechanics. He tells me that he is going to have my car towed to his other shop in Roseville get it fixed there and also give me a discount for all the inconvience. That was the 1st and only time I talked to the owner they keep giving me the run around I am always the one to call them and see what is going on. I am beyond frustrated my car is at the Roseville store and its still not done I have to wait til they finish another car and its almost 4 months please help
