Complaint: I purchased a washer and dryer set February 26th 2014 from Hanna's Appliance. The day I got the washer the hose connections were leaking.I called and informed the younger gentle I purchased the set from told me to "come and they will give me a new set of hoses". I was not able to get down to the business until three days later.I finally used the washer machine March 1st 2014, the washer over flew all on the floor because the water would not drain. I called and spoke with the older gentle who owns Hanna Appliance. He informed me that the do repairs in the shop only so I would have to bring the machine down stairs and he would give me another one so I would not be without a washer . I told him I have to find someone to help me bring the machine down stairs. He told me to tilt the machine on the side and put the clear hose back inside of the compartment because I probably had knocked it out of place while bringing it up the stairs.I tried to do as he said but the hose was in place, I had called him on the 6th of March and asked the owner of the business what time would be the lastest time he could pick up the appliance it was about 4pm he said noon because the guy who works for him has deliveries.I had my brother prepared to help me with the machine on the 7th at noon . I called him that morning I spoke with the owner he said 11am the guy will come to pick it up . I informed him that my brother was under the impression that we were going to move it at 12noon . The owner got angry with me and said"no He can come at 11 only because he has deliveries between 12-2pm so he can't do it at noon". I reminded him that he told me yesterday 12noon is the lastest time we started arguing he said he does not want to talk to me anymore and now he will not pick up the machine I need to bring it to the shop because I had cursed at him. I waited until our tempers would calm down.the new machine is loud and the dryer started blowing cold air after the first night I used it.

Desired Settlement: March 17 th I went to the business after calling before I went there and spoke with the owner. We talked about the situation he said"I'd cursed him so he did not want to deal with me I explained to him I have children and I just want what I paid for. He told me to leave I would not leave he said "he'd call the police", which he did. I waited but after a while he said "it cost him $75 dollars to pay the guy to bring a machine and pick up one so he was not doing that again ", I told him I 'd pay.

Business Response: The company states that they provided a different washer and dryer to the consumer. They state that the issue has been resolved.

BBB's Final Determination: Business offered a resolution. Consumer did not pursue further with BBB and the matter was assumed to be resolved
