Complaint: we rented a home at **** ********** ***** ****** We paid in advance, signed a contract, to be told that the house had been double booked. we rented a house for the week of July 30th to August 4th and were simply told that the house had been double booked. we were offered a refund but at this date we could not find another place to stay. we have been treated very unprofessionaly by the representative of the company ***** (no last name). We've been screamed at over how, "mistakes happen all the time." the rude treatment certainly does not help the fact that we are out a vacation.

Desired Settlement: we simply asked for a comparable rental for our planned vacation. this is the worst i've ever been treated in a business dispute. we have a valid contract and are being treated as if we had made the mistake not them. Then were confronted with the representatives personal problems, this is the most unprofessional real estate agent in the state and that's saying something.

Business Response: Business' Initial Response
The double booking was an accidental error due to a typo, when it was noticed( 10 days later) I contacted the guests immediately. I tried to offer them one of our other properties as well as contact other management companies in the area to find something to meet their criteria, however none of the properties I found for them was to their liking. I also offered a free complementary night at one of our other properties or a free 2 night stay at another time at the property they originally booked, but that was not acceptable to them either. I then offered them a $200 additional credit for their trouble. This was not an intentional mistake, but an accidental one. I tried to offer the people other options, but they were not acceptable to anything. We did credit their credit card immediately in full as well as gave them an additional $200.00
