Complaint: Sales reps. providing false information. I visited the store with a friend to have a gun transferred on 3/12/13. Prior to our visit I called to ask what they would require to complete the transfer and the latest time they would be able to take us in and was told that I would have to take the safety test and they can complete the whole process as long as I get there by 7:30pm so we made arrangements and were there on the above stated date at about 7:20pm. After administering the safety test we were then told its too late to do a transfer now, at this point I informed the employee that I had called in the previous day and asked to speak to a manager. The manager Brian was listening in and said "well someone gave you the wrong info and there is nothing I can do for you." I told him that they should have informed me about not having enough time before they even gave me the safety test to which the reply was "can't do anything for you"
Desired Settlement: I want them to stop giving out appointment times they can't keep. I am a business owner myself and lost two customers to keep the appt. with them which I am seeking a reimbursement for $150 plus what they charged for the safety cert. which is $25 and an apology for wasting my time which is priceless.
